Design, realization and test operation of the vibrodiagnostic system VDS-UT at TG2 ETE system, Z1448/10
Procházka, Pavel ; Vaněk, František
The results of the development and realization of the contactless vibrodiagnostic system VDS-UT for monitoring of blade vibrations of the third blade row in the steam turbine TG2 at the power plant Temelín are described. The report deals with the concept and mathematical model of a system based on the method of time differences. The results of the development of magneto-resistive pick-ups sensing the position of the rotor and blades are summarized. The principle methods of data evaluation are discussed, which became the basis for the elaboration of programs for data analysis and on-line display of instantaneous information about the vibration of turbine blades. The results of measurements obtained by starting-up the turbine TG2 after a downtime are involved and analysed.

The form in which various impurities and admixtures are transported in steam circuits of power plants is a missing piece of knowledge needed to fully understand the processes of liquid phase formation in the low-pressure stages of steam turbines and, consequently, to model these processes and suggest modifications of turbine operation and design. The existence of heterogeneous particles in the superheated steam has been proven by the present team using an original sampling device, enabling using standard aerosol instrumentation to characterize the heterogeneous particles in superheated steam. We report measurements at power plant Prunéřov II, where 5.6E9 particles per kilogram of dry steam was found. The Sauter diameter of the particles d32=30nm was determined. The mass balance indicates, that substantial part of the mass of impurities is contained in particles <3nm, the current detection limit. For this reason an expansion chamber is being developed with a goal of detecting particles down to 1nm.
HIGH-SPEED AERODYNAMIC RESEARCH ON BLADE CASCADE REPRESENTING MIDDLE SECTION OF ROTOR BLADING OF LAST STAGE OF STEAM TURBINE OF LARGE OUTPUT
Luxa, Martin ; Synáč, J. ; Šafařík, Pavel ; Šimurda, David ; Šťastný, M.
The paper is concerned with results of an aerodynamic research on the midsection of the last stage rotor blade of a large output steam turbine. Data from optical and pneumatic measurements were obtained in a wide range of isentropic exit Mach numbers and angles of incidence. Velocity, loss coefficient and exit flow angle characteristics are analysed and discussed. Structure of flow fields are described using interferograms and schlieren pictures
Aerodynamické chování patního řezu lopatky posledního stupně parní turbíny velikého výkonu při nenávrhových provozních režimech
Luxa, Martin ; Synáč, J. ; Šafařík, P. ; Šimurda, D.
The paper is concerned with results of high-speed aerodynamics research on blade cascade. The blade cascade represents root section of the last stage rotor blades of large output steam turbine. Basic aerodynamic charakteristics of the blade cascade are presented together with flow field photographs in range of transonic velocities. Results are analysed and discused.
Aerosol in the steam turbine?
Kolovratník, Michal ; Hrubý, Jan ; Ždímal, Vladimír
The small amount of admixtures in steam circuits of power stations influences their life-expectancy and energetic efficiency. It is likely that non-volatile admixtures are in the environment of the dry (superheated) steam transported in the form lf dry particles or concentrated nanometric droplets, aerosols. For the detection of these particles a new sampling line is proposed, using the aerosol technology. It will be possible to connect the sampling line to sampling ports of a steam turbine.
Vliv přechodu z nominálního režimu ke sníženému na změnu pole proudění v NT stupni 210 MW turbíny
Jonáš, Pavel ; Mazur, Oton ; Uruba, Václav
HW-CTA measuring method was applied at the investigation of wet steam flow downstream the LP stage of a 210 MW turbine. Time averaged characteristics of flow field and temperature field were determined as well as the phase averaged ones.
