Physiological Data to Analyze and Improve the User Experience
Štěpánek, Daniel ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Materna, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to obtain dataset of physiological data for user emotions in order to analyze and improve human-computer interaction. This paper proposes of the use Empatica wristband to capture physiological data and Python for data processing. After evaluation, 94 % of intact data was obtained from the expected number of samples. Based on the obtained data, it is possible to better analyze the user experience and thus improve it.
Meter of pulse frequency variability
Starzyczny, Radek ; Lutera, Ondřej (referee) ; Strašil, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design and construct an autonomous module for receiving and processing HRV (Heart Rate Variability). The device is made as an extension board for development kit STM32. For receiving HR signal is used sensor RMCM-01. The device allow calculate and display the heart rate and its variability and some more parameters from collected data.
Heart Rate Variability Measurement Device
Süss, Ivo ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Strašil, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to develop a device that will receive the signal from sporttester belt and then that signal will be processed. The meter is based on development kit STM32 Primer 2. To receive signals from sporttester belts uses sensor RMCM-01 Polar. The meter allows measurement of parameters of heart variability, recording on a memory card and work with the measured data from the memory card.
Heart rate measurement using pulse oximetry on unconventional parts of the human body
Varmužová, Zdeňka ; Mrnka, Michal (referee) ; Cupal, Miroslav (advisor)
This study deals with the method of measuring heart rate using pulse oximetry. It describes the basic principles of this method for determining both heart rate and blood oxygenation. It examines the possibilities of placing the sensor on non-standard places of the human body. It also discusses the possible shortcomings of the method as well as the inaccuracies of measurements in certain places on the body and the possibilities of mounting the sensor and the use of the product in ordinary life. Later it presents the design for the heart rate measuring device used on the selected body part, that is forehead, and compares it with commercialy available products.
