Assistance to persons in material need

ASSISTANCE TO PERSONS IN MATERIAL NEED At the present time in the Czech Republic the assistance to persons in material need is provided by nongovernmental organisations (Salvation Army, Naděje, Diakonie and others). However, the state has the bigger role to play in this area as according to Art. 30/2 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms it is obliged to provide anyone in material need the assistance in securing basic living conditions. The state does so through the Material Need Assistance Bodies. As the previous legal regulation of assistance to persons in social need had not been fully sufficient, a new Act on Assistance in Material Need was adopted, coming into force on 1 January 2007. This Act introduced several crucial changes. The Material Need Assistance Body is obliged to provide social consultation to anyone in material need. Timely and professional consultation very often leads to resolving the difficult situation of the client, and regularly there is no longer any need to grant and disburse the relevant benefits and allowances. In case the social consultation is insufficient to resolve the situation of the client the Act allows for disbursing material need assistance benefits and allowances. Impacts of Social System Reform in the Area of Social Assistance

The theoretical part of general definitions relating to situations connected with insufficient income. It contains a description of the system of social benefits due to social needs and system benefits of assistance in material indigence with their comparison before and after the date of January 1.1. 2007, there have been modifications laws related to providing assistance to people with insufficient income. The practical part deals with the practical implications of social reforms to activities with authorized municipal office focusing on the Municipality of Kamenice nad Lipou. The aim was to find out the pros and cons of the new system of assistance in material need in terms of official and the client.
Effect of Act on assistance in material poverty and the beneficiary of assistance in material need to Dačice and Slavonice

The thesis is focused on the modification of the law of help in a material poverty, issued in January 2012. The research of the thesis is concerned with the effect of the modification on beneficiaries of the help in a material poverty. The theoretical part is focused on social benefits firstly according to law of social need and afterwards according to law of help in a material poverty. There are introduce basic concepts as material poverty, persons in a material poverty, persons considered together, incomes, subsistence level and existential minimum. Particular benefits are described in detail benefit for living, housing benefit, extraordinary immediate help. The practical part is focused on the most important modifications of the law. They are briefly described, analysed and on the particular example is explained what the modification meant for a client.
Fulfilling of bio-psycho-social need in clients with independent disorder in home care

Over and over again we are making sure how much is psychic support needed, to motivate patient (client) to regain health while hospitalized. We are finding out that family background cannot be replaced for any person (patient), not even by best medical and nursing care possible while hospitalized. Home care can (perfectly) unite expertise with support of family. Hospitals and home cares should be try satisfying all bio-psycho-social needs of clients. But it doesnt always work perfectly. Thats why i choose topic of bachelor work: satisfying of bps needs among clients with indep.dis. I collected informations from clients by asking them with questionaires. Goal of this work is to compare saticfacton of bio-psycho-social needs among clients with independent disorder in home care and those in hospital. Goal was build based on conditions, that biological, psychical a social needs are better saturated in home care than in hospitals. This work should inform about advantages of home care for clients and I wish it can help both medics and ordinary people who take care of people with independent disorder.
