Malůšek, Jan ; Loutocká, Vlasta (referee) ; Urbášková, Hana (advisor)
ANNOTATION On the banks of the Střední Novomlýnská reservoir, in the cadastre of the municipality of Strachotín, the diploma thesis presents the overall design of a multifunctional complex, based on a sensitive connection between organic farming, well-breeding, and eco-tourism. The proposal shows the concept of farming in a "closed circle", with regard to the environment. The urban solution deals with the selected land with an area of 20 ha. The architectural part closely introduces the system of objects, creating a new landscape, perceived by both a human and bird's eye perspective. The layout solution analyzes in detail the functional arrangement of the farm, trying to meet all the requirements for efficient management while maintaining the organic regime and the coexistence of visitors and employees. The complex also offers a restaurant, multifunctional hall, conference rooms, classrooms, workshops, a gym, and exhibition areas. Accommodation is provided by a system of separate buildings, presenting the current possibilities of natural construction and environmentally friendly technologies to the guests, while maintaining the comfort of living. The farm is fully equipped for weddings or corporate events. The design and material solution use a maximum of natural materials in combination with current technologies. In addition to designing a viable multifunctional unit, the aim of the thesis is also to bring added value to the region, by holding annual cultural events and regular activities for children and seniors from the surrounding municipalities. At the same time, the work aims to create a sensitive counterpoint to current tourist destinations in the area.
Dopady útoku vlka na stáda ovcí
PĚČKOVÁ, Michaela
The bachelor 's thesis deals with the relationship between wolfs and sheep breeding in the context of wolf attacks on sheep and measures to protect herds. The aim of the work was to investigate different ways to protect sheep farming from wolf attacks and to analyse their effectiveness. Combination of qualitive and quantitative methods was used for data collection, including interviews with sheep farmers and analysis of available statistical data. The main result of the work was the finding that wolf attacks have a significant impact on sheep farming, both in terms of economic losses and in terms of the psychological impact on breeders. Various measures have been identified to protect sheep farming from the wolf, such as electric fences or the use of herding dogs. Each measure has its advantages and disadvantages, and therefore it is necessary to take into the account the specifics of a specific location and the needs of the breeder.
Porovnání metabolického profilu u ovcí v závislosti na plemenné příslušnosti a věku
MÍKOVÁ, Eliška
Comparison of blood metabolic profile at sheep was the aim of my Bachelor Work. The breed and age were influenting factors. Hematological, biochemical and mineral parameters were followed. I recieved and evaluated blood samples of 13 females, 1 male and 20 lambs during 2021 - 19th April, 3rd May, 29th June and 22nd October. Getting results were compared with figures from world literature. No significant differences in physiological parameters were found at lambs of Suffolk and Šumavka breed whereas some light differences were found in number of leucocytes, lymphocytes and granulocytes. The changes of metabolic profile depend on the age of animals. Higher values in haemoglobin were measured in the collection on 22 October, leucocytes and urea, and thus seasonal effects were evident.
Assessing the role and effectiveness of subsidies on livestock farming and selected predator species
DOHNALOVÁ, Andrea
The diploma thesis deals with impacts of opposing grants by the example of the grant for farm animals farming and financial aids for expansion of presence of the chosen kind of predator at the same time. Sheep farming and the presence of wolf, as the final predator, were chosen to illustrate the point. Significant increasing of compensations and expenses for protection measures for farming have, and will still have, a stronger impact not only on company or public finances, but also emotional impact or an impact on the maintaining of cultural area and its roles. A timescale for the change of unfavourable trends hasn't been created yet. An absolute protection of wolf is superfluous and high-risk in breeder's and gamekeeper's opinion and based on findings, arguments, information and in a part of general public opinion. This work bases on the analysis of numerous publications, actual statements of aggrieved subjects and on data from the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Finance and public opinion. This topic seems to be very current with interdepartmental and interdisciplinary range, because it is not possible to assume that there will be an unequivocal solution of the problem some time soon.

Analýza reprodukčních vlastností plemene zwartbles
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Jana
The thesis was focused on the reproductive traits of zwartbles breed level evaluation in Novosedly nad Nežárkou, evaluation data were compared with the average values of reproductive traits of zwartbles flocks, included in the performance monitoring of sheep in the Czech Republic, using statistical methods. Simultaneously, there was the effect of factors that might affect reproductive traits of the breed evaluated. 111 ewes were evaluated during the period 2012-2015. The average fertility in the sheeps during the monitoring period amounted to 175,7 % and an average rearing amounted to 88,5 %. There was a significant difference in fertility (p < 0,05) and even highly significant difference in rearing (p < 0,01) among the monitored flock and the flocks in the performance monitoring. The percentage of fertilization and intensity in breeding didn´t achieve satisfactory values, primarily due to the high percentage of futility in sheep in average of 25,5 %. All the reproduction indicators are below the breed average. Lambing number on litter size was evaluated as highly significant (p < 0,01). Ewe age at lambing was assessed as a highly significant influence exerted on fertility (p < 0,01). Influence paternal lines of ewes on their fertility was not statistically demonstrated (p 0,05).
