The influence of crystallization additives to waterproof concrete
Rosecký, Pavel ; Louda, Pavel (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with influence of crystallization additives to waterproof concrete. In the theoretical part is detailed analysis individual components in concrete production, improving waterproofing properties and finally functions and properties of crystallization materials. In the practical part I deal with influence of selected crystallization additives on properties of fresh and hardened concrete.
Study of the Durability of Modified Cementitious Composites
Bařina, Tomáš ; Bydžovský, Jiří (referee) ; Žižková, Nikol (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with crystallization additives used to modify cement composites. Describes their principle of operation, application methods and also mentions the different manufacturers with their products. In this work were made test samples with Xypex Admix crystallization additive which were tested for mechanical and physical properties depending on the amount of crystallization additives, aggressive environment and the duration of exposure in this environment. Selected samples were analyzed with RTG, DTA, SEM and porosimetry for detailed examination of the microstructure.
Utilization of secondary crystallization to increase resistance of cement composites to aggressive environments
Jambor, Vladimír ; Žižková, Nikol (referee) ; Bydžovský, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the study of impact secondary crystallization on the mechanical properties of cement composites. The aim of the theoretical part this work is research and a comparison of specialist publications on the issue, the practical part deals with the verification secondary crystallization influence on the degradation of cementitious composites exposed to aggressive environment and assessment of the microstructure of these composites through electron microscopy.
The evaluation of the effect of crystallization additives on durability cement composites
Roubal, David ; Bydžovský, Jiří (referee) ; Dufka, Amos (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the study of crystalline materials and their effects on the durability of concrete. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the detailed analysis of the characteristics of crystalline materials, including their division and use. It also particularizes the main factors influencing the durability of concrete and provides an overall research of crystalline materials testing. Based on the findings, the experimantal part focuses on the examination of crystalline materials applied to self-compacting concrete. The examination included, among other things, testing in aggresive environment and strength and permeability test carried out on set SCC.
