Remote Assistance in Augmented Reality

This work addresses a situation where a person is trying to deal with a problem that they don’t know how to deal withand needs remote assistance from a specialist who can deal with the complication.The most natural way of contacting such an expert is through a phone call, but the actual description of the situation takes a lot of time, and the operator may have difficulty giving the client instructions to the client because he cannot see what he sees. A video call would help deal with these circumstances, but it doesn’t provide tools to help understand instructions, such as location marking or a particular object. The aim of this thesis is to develop remote support applications using augmented reality to allow an operator to place virtual annotations in the client’s view to real environment and thus facilitate remote collaboration between the participants of a call. V scope of the work was to thoroughly analyze existing applications and propose a solution based on their advantages and disadvantages. The applications were developed in the Unity game engine, where the AR experience of the mobile client application was implemented using the ARFoundation package. Video Communications real-time communication between the two parties would be implemented by the Agora development tool.

Peer to peer systém pro vzdálené ovládání počítače

This thesis deals with creating of decentralized peer to peer system designed for remote control of computers. P2P network and single nodes in this network is inspired by hybrid peer-to-peer network architecture used by Skype application. The application uses terminal services available in operation system Windows for remote control of computers. Namely, MS Remote Desktop and MS Remote Assistance is used. The entire application is created in programing language C#.
