Unearthing imprisoned potential for paralyzed patients, using technical means theEpoc Headset allowing control computer by mind

The aim is to explore the possibility of EPOC headset - the equipment used to control computer by the human mind and its use in practice. In collaboration with the Rehabilitation Institute at the Kladruby identify suitable patients and methods to use this device. Students will then design and address tuples (patient disability, hardware options, choice of software, design methods use collaboration with the patient). These tuples including practical experience describe in the methodical guide. Benefits for patients due to spinal cord injuries or diseases of the nervous system control over their bodies would be to help at least a partial return to normal life or the possibility of extending the use of their "imprisoned potential?. For work is required knowledge of information technologies, the ability to absorb new issues, empathy, patience and sensitivity to patients, traveling to Kladruby.
