Perception of reality and fiction in pre-school children.
URBANOVÁ, Lucie
This bachelor paper examines the ability of pre-school children to recognize the difference between fact and fiction. The research was carried out in a nursery school. The pre-schoolers were asked to watch short recordings excerpted from children's films and were subsequently interviewed. The research shows that the perception of fact and fiction by four- year-old children differs significantly in several aspects from the perception of reality by six-year-old children.
