Expanded Graphite as Negative Electrode for Lithium-Ion Batteries
Bibik, Maria ; Máca, Josef (referee) ; Libich, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis examines the issues related to the lithium-ion batteries and describes their basic elements, operating principle and technological parameters. It is focused on studying different materials for the negative electrode (anode) that is based on natural graphite. It describes in detail expanded natural graphite materials which are used as an active electrode material. This thesis describes experiments of the impact of the pressure force on power and capacity characteristics of the negative electrode in aprotic system of li-ion batteries.
Negative electrodes for sodium ion batteries
Šátek, Dominik ; Libich, Jiří (referee) ; Máca, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with sodium-ion accumulators with focus on negative electrode, introduces basic terms in the field of secondary cells and describes production of accumulators. The result of this work are tested electrodes based on natural carbon and sodium metatitanate. These electrodes are then compared with each other and evaluated.
Electrode Active Materials for Lithium-Ion Accumulators
Čech, Ondřej ; Oriňáková, Renáta (referee) ; Paidar,, Martin (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This doctoral thesis deals with synthesis and characterisation of electroactive electrode materials for li-ion batteries and accumulators. The work is divided into two main parts. One deals with LiFePO4 based cathode composite electroactive material and in the second is described the synthesis and utilization of monoclinic TiO2(B) as an anode for li-ion cell. The main aim of the work is to relate the synthesis procedure and structural properties of both materials to its electrochemical preformance.
