Metrology assurance system of health radiology in Czech republic and possibility of future optimalisation
KOLÁŘOVÁ, Helena
Topic of the work is description of metrological system of Czech Republic with scope on the field of radiology in the health care and comparison of this system and metrological ensure of radiology in Czech Republic with some other chosen states. The states assigned for comparison were chosen so that they include both the countries that are geographically or historically close (Slovakia, Austria, Slovenia, Germany) and the countries that are geographically and socially rather distant to Czech Republic (USA, Bahrain, Jordan). The work describes the ways of legal regulation of meters, their ensuring and structures of relevant metrological systems. There is also evaluated the influence of regulation degree on the work of a radiology assistant. It turned out that despite of diversities in the structures of the national metrological systems the resultant regulation degree is analogous in most states not regard to the way of its ensuring. The only exception is Arabian countries that however already gradually develop metrological systems and regulation mechanisms following European models and consequently the regulation degree gradually increases there. It follows from the results that, although the small changes in metrological system of Czech Republic are possible above all in the area of the length of validity of verification of individual measuring instruments, the existing system is functional and completely fulfils the demands of health protection of patients and medical personnel and quality of health care and does not create any serious complications or obstructions for the work of a radiology assistant.
