Artificial Life Modelling
Žák, Jakub ; Kunovský, Jiří (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This paper deals with artificial life simulation by means of artificial BDI agents. This work aims to create a virtual world, to which agents are put. In system, there is 5 kinds of agents. Agent father, who rules and synchronizes the system. Next are agent worker, salesman, cop and thief. Model of the system is created by use of Prometheus methodology. The system is programed in the Jason language, which is implementation of AgentSpeak language.
Cooperation of Multiagent Group in Dynamic Environment
Balajka, Pavel ; Uhlíř, Václav (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The thesis summarises thorough analysis of rules and mechanisms of Multiagent Contest for year 2020 followed by design of multiagent group which will try to succeed in a simulation of the mentioned contest with the best results. The design was created according to the Prometheus metodology from general view (scenarios, goals) to specific details (agent plans, messages). Implementation is realized through JaCaMo system, which is also briefly described in this paper. Then the pros and cons of JaCaMo system are analyzed. Lastly the implemented solution of this work is compared with other teams that participated in the mentioned agent competition this year.
Security of Testing Farm Service
Havlín, Jan ; Malinka, Kamil (referee) ; Drga, Jozef (advisor)
This thesis deals with security of Testing Farm Service in Red Hat company. Specifically, it is about unauthorized usage of testing machines for purposes which are not allowed. The need for implementing security measures comes from the fact that users are allowed to run arbitrary code on test machines as the user root.    In the implementation part of the thesis, a monitoring agent was created and deployed to the testing machines of the production environment of the service. This system watches transmitted packets, system resources and configuration. Based on these observations, it creates metrics about the system behavior and sends them over to monitoring server Prometheus.
Virtualized environment for testing the DDoS attacks
Král, Lukáš ; Safonov, Yehor (referee) ; Jurek, Michael (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the creation of a virtualized containerized environment for testing denial of service attacks. Theoretical part of the thesis analyses DDoS attacks, virtualization and Docker platform. In the practical part of the thesis, a web application is designed and implemented to test selected DDoS attacks. The impact of the attacks is then visualized using appropriate metrics through a monitoring system consisting of Prometheus and Grafana tools. Attackers, victim even monitoring components are generated using Docker containers.

The Romantic Prometheus: Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein", P. B. Shelley's "Prometheus Unbound" and Lord Byron's "Manfred".
Hupcejová, Anna ; Horová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Beran, Zdeněk (referee)
Following the time of political turmoil and social change sweeping through Europe (the French Revolution, the Napoleonic Wars, the Industrial Revolution), the mythological figure of Prometheus was especially popular in English Romantic literature. The Promethean symbol and values of liberty and defiance were evident inspirations of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Percy Bysshe Shelley's Prometheus Unbound and George Gordon Byron's Manfred. Being generally interested in English Romantic literature, I seek to discuss in what ways and to what extent have the Romantics rewritten the themes associated with the Titan for the purposes of modernity. Prometheus' chief characteristics are his caring and self-sacrificing, yet rebellious and cunning nature - he is in short an individual that the Romantics could relate to, also because he suffered for his beliefs and was mentally strong enough to stand up against the Olympian authorities. His name translates as 'forethought' or 'foresight' and this is without doubt connected to why the Romantics found him relevant to their time. There are a few issues that will need to be confronted. First of all, there are countless versions of the ancient myth, so instead I will direct my attention to the values and symbols associated with Prometheus. Secondly, there are also other...
Myths of the czech music alternative in the 1980s
Jonssonová, Pavla ; Jurková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Horský, Jan (referee) ; Maderová, Blanka (referee)
Dissertation "Myths of the Czech Music Alternative in the 1980s" presents an anthropological view of the phenomenon of a parallel culture in a limiting situation. On the basis of biographical narratives, additional interviews and data gained from other types of sources, "myths" are constructed for seven major figures of the Czech alternative scene. This is an insider's ethnomusicological interpretation, based on Mircea Eliade's and Bronislaw Malinowski's concepts of myth as recurrent and exemplary models of behavior. The described personalities, Jazz Section (Prometheus), Miroslav Wanek ("hero's journey") Karel Babuljak ("search for paradise lost"), Pavel Zajíček (Odysseus), Mikoláš Chadima ("Rebel"), Oldřich Janota (Hermes), and Marka Míková (Psyche), represent some of the main trends in creative processes of the Czech music alternative scene with myth being used as a metaphor. The metaphor is understood here in the terms of Timothy Rice, i.e. as an organization principle of our thinking, as well as an illuminating image.

Mathematics textbooks for secondary schools from the point of view of beginning teachers
JELÍNEK, Jan
The aim of this thesis is to identify differences among Mathematics textbooks and to find out how they work in real education process. This research will provide information whether such textbooks are actually used by Maths teachers, and if so, then in what manner and how effectively. This will be viewed from the perspective of a teacher-beginner who searches for the most appropriate textbook for Mathematics lessons. Another goal is to introduce the offer of various Maths textbooks for the 2nd stage of basic schools. Also, there is a research performed that could compare these books, especially books published by Prometheus, Fraus and H-mat. Results of the research will be then used for lesson plans of a beginning teacher.
