Schools of rural renewal

Presented diploma paper defines the phenomenon of school of rural renewal through four case studies that illustrate different approaches to this institution, and through their comparison. The empirical research is based on a theory development including definition of key words; rural areas, rural problems and rural renewal being among them. Analyzing interviews with the schools' representatives together with documentation study lead to conducting four examples of schools of rural renewal presenting four strategies for rural renewal. Despite having different approaches to the same topic, they correspond in several characteristics: they are a municipality project, they share the common idea of introducing further education to the regional politics and the target group is defined as the municipality officers. Major development of the phenomenon of schools of rural renewal was experienced in 1990's, when they meant a large contribution to the rural stakeholders' acquirements and capacity building. Analysis of management of Jihočeský region (regional development funding, renovation of cultural monuments and country development)

This master thesis is focused on analysis of management of Jihočeský region, especially regional development funding, renovation of cultural monuments and country development. In analysis of region's management and funding in 2000 -- 2013 period I work with closing accounts. You can see the growing trend of incomes and expenses of this region. At the start of this examining period of time total expenses are greater than incomes. Next chapter is about given grants for regional development, when the highest numbers are always grants for country development. In the last chapter I focus on renovation of cultural monuments in Jihočeský region 2011 -- 2013 period, when the highest numbers are grants for renovation of cultural real-estates.

The Renewal Program of Kaliště Village (near Humpolec)

The bachelor thesis is devoted to local rural development, specifically the creation of a comprehensive Renewal program of Kaliště village (near Humpolec). The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the characteristics of Kaliště, followed by an analysis of literature devoted to the area of Kaliště and literature dealing with rural renewal. In the practical part the bachelor thesis propose a lot of structured events/schemes aimed at development of Kaliště, these being divided into individual sectors. This proposal of the schemes follows from the analysis of existing territorial and local documents and information obtained from field research, such as data gathered from interview with important person of the village and a from questionnaire survey carried out among Kaliště?s local residents.

The Program of Reconstruction of the Rural Settlement Kovářov

This bachelor thesis is focused on planning of development of a rural settlement, specifically on The Program of Reconstruction of the Rural Settlement Kovářov.This program is based on the analysis of literature about solved area, on the analysis of territorially and locally developing materials and on the analysis of questionnaire research. Firstly geographical features of rural settlement are dealt in the thesis. Then the analysis dealing with development of country is realized and then there are chapters which analyse development materials of the settlement and which find out opinions of experts and inhabitants. Their aim is to gather proposals to the program of country reconstruction. The final chapter presents a structured complex of proposed activities of The Program of Reconstruction of the Rural Settlement Kovářov.

Possibilities of teritorial and regional development on area of Staré Město pod Landštejnem village

In this thesis was created a medium-term draft of actions for the local development needs of village Staré Město pod Landštejnem based on economic, social and organizational possibilities that the village has. This draft was based on the analysis of themes from a questionnaire survey among residents of the village, interviews with local actors, existing development documents related to the community and the author's own ideas. A part of this thesis is the geographical characteristics of the village area and the analysis of literature dealing with the countryside, especially its local and regional development, spatial planning and territorial development of rural settlements and the surrounding landscape, including the analysis of materials prepared for the municipality. Another important output of the thesis is to summarize and supply the existing principles for spatial and landscape planning in the village.

Village Recovery Program Zubčice, Český Krumlov District

Bachelors labour is dealing with the development of countryside. It is dealing with wide and complex Recovery program of village Zubčice (situated near Český Krumlov). The program is based on analysis of available data, answer sheets that were given to local inhabitants, interviews with experts and own terrain research. Teoretical part is dealing with physic- geographical and social- geographical landscape characteristic. The labour analyzes literature of countryside recovery and other sources providing information to concrete land. In part that solves concrete questions and problems is analysis of questionaire research and scheduled interviews that suggests certain really solvable Recovery program of village Zubčice. Results of the analysis can be applicated here and possible suggestions resulting from questionaire research on representative sample of inhabitants, scheduled interviews with experts and own terrain research.
