Aquaria Production Pavlica
Suchanek, Tomáš ; Štikar, Jaroslav (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with documentation for gaining building permit approval and documentation for building aquarium factory. Thesis is based on earlier created AG032 course study. Popovice is located in Uherské Hradiště county, this parcel of land is located near south border of the county. The estate is flat and relatively narrow; therefore, the shape of the estate has influenced the placement of individual objects. The estate is near railroad station. Because of the near highway E55, the supply and dispatch accessibility is good. The factory is divided into four above-ground objects that are mutually dilated according to the production requirements. All objects do not possess a cellar. The first object is located in the southern part of the estate. In the first object there is a product showroom and administrative section with employee facilities. Due to showroom’s atypical shape, this object is partially made of reinforced concrete and partially made of Porotherm system construction blocks. The production hall is located behind this object. The access to the production hall is possible with a truck, also it is possible to manipulate heavy blocks of glass with a crane. The manufacturing process of glueing has high demands for light, therefore, the object is equipped with roof belt light well and large glass walls. This production hall is connected to waste storage unit in the east side and wood processing building on the north side. Also, there are technological facilities for both objects. The supply and dispatch area is located between the main production hall, waste storage unit and wood processing building. The construction system of production objects is skeleton, prefabricated and based on monolithic nibs. The light wells and roof are made of steel. Waste storage unit’s load-bearing system is made of bricks. Kingspan white colour facade panels are the main connecting elements throughout the whole factory. Behind the factory there is park greenery with
Aquaria Production Popovice
Kozubíková, Aneta ; Štikar, Jaroslav (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis it to design a new building for manufacturing aquariums. This project is based on a study which was made in subject named AG032. Popovice is located in Zlínský region in Uherské Hradiště district. The building plot is located outside of the living area of Popovice and it’s near of a very busy road - E50. Form of the building works on the shape of the building plot which is very limiting. It’s relatively narrow and on the north part it has a protective zone from railway track. Visually, the building can be divided to three parts which have different height – administration with production, showroom and joinery. The look of the building is really simple. Conceptually the building is based on long shape of a production and administration part and walk-through entrance hall. This divides employees and people who are visiting this area. The long look is multiplied by strip windows and cantilever part of the 2nd floor. Showroom and the joinery copy the shape of this plot and use the maximum area of it – one of the perimeter walls is parallel with border of the plot. The primary task of the design is to create an area where everything is well connected and collision-free. This building has no cellar and on the south side it has two storey. Structural system of the showroom is made from masonry system. The rest of the building is made from reinforced concrete skeletal structure – the part for administration is from cast-in-place concrete and the other part is prefabricated.

The geophysical survey in area of the mediaeval fortress in Popovice (township Benešov)
Vovsová, Jana ; Dohnal, Jiří (advisor) ; Kněz, Jaroslav (referee)
The Master's thesis "Geophysical survey in the area of the mediaeval fortress in Popovice" is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and summarizes the possibilities of using electrical resistivity tomography method (ERT) in archaeology. The second part deals with the actual geophysical prospecting in the area of the mediaeval fortress in Popovice (Benešov county). General information on the locality including geological setting, past geophysical exploration in the area, history of the object, archaeological findings and overview of construction development are addressed in this part, prior to the description of the field measurements. Methods used on the site are then specified: symmetrical resistivity profiling, dipole electromagnetic profiling, electrical resistivity tomography and ground penetrating radar. Subsequently, the process of field measuring in the area of the fortress is described and the data processing methods are discussed. The results of these measurements and their interpretation on the basis of compiled geophysical maps and sections are presented finally. Key words: geophysical survey, archaeology, fortress in Popovice (Benešov county).
