Kučera, Pavel ; Klimecký, Martin (referee) ; Gerö, Jiří (advisor) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis follows a project developed within the subject AG035 Studio of Architectural Creation. The subject of the design is a multifunctional house in the place of the gap, which currently serves as a parking lot or marketplace. The multifunctional house is located close to the walls and castle gardens of Mikulov Castle - located in the urban conservation zone, which was declared in Mikulov in 1982. Due to the elevation of the plot and the street to which the design is adjacent, the multifunctional house is divided into three related parts. The outer parts are set aside for commercial purposes on the first floor (florist, newsagent, bistro). The second, third floor and attic offer a total of 8 apartments. The middle part is reserved only for a literary café. The design also includes underground parking accessible by stairs from the first floor of the outer parts of the multifunctional building. Entry and exit is provided by two ramps. An integral part is the culture of the remaining free space adjacent to the walls of the Mikulov castle. It will consist of gardens and a space/passage adjacent to the wine cellar located under the walls. At the same time, it will be possible to get from this passage to the area of the castle gardens by means of a designed elevator. The facades of all three parts of the multifunctional house are richly glazed and designed in white, beige plaster or pigmented concrete trowel. They take into account the fact that the multifunctional house is located in the urban conservation zone. The roof of the building is saddle with concrete covering in a traditional red-brown colour.

My aim was to build on the street buildings and the horizontal line adjacent materials . On the corner there is a breach of negative corner that serves as an entrance to the building . It also serves as a public space with the possibility of a summer garden cafe and the space in the theatre . The space between buildings incurred to complete the perforated screen. Perforation ensures sufficient intimacy of interior space, but also allows contact with the public space . The screen also brings a staircase whose arms linking the two spaces . The idea is to divide buildings into more fuel, which would protect the inner space formed from the noise outward and through the neighborhood . Increasing the inner atrium of one floor is created intimate garden space with a water feature . Following the arch are the expression of individual floors with residential units made available galleries located on the inner sides . This element would revitalize the internal space as possible meeting place . The house provides recovery through the streets multifunctional parter . In the street adjacent to the old dance studio is located a cafe . Both are open to the street space through the glazing. Cafe uses of public space , created a negative corner , for use in the summer. In the street adjacent to Bratislava are located commercial space for rent . Spaces are partially shielded front wall expanded metal , which, however, can be summed up to one side. The material located on Street Stará has a regular grid of windows underlined storing facing bricks. Layout and structure reveal the residential use of the building . Rudolecká, Anna ; Fišer, Jiří (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis examines the creation of individual stages of project documentation to the study of the new building from subject AG035. The project deals with the new multifunctional house located in the district Lisen on the plot of land p. No. 4418/1 in the cadastral territory of Brno. The plat is situated on a sloping terrain. The project takes into account solving of surrounding areas as well, particularly in front of the area and connection to the public transport infrastructure. The mass of the object consists of four large blocks. Two of them are double-storey and two are single-storey. Blocks are interconnected by a glass tunnel, set on a symbolic pedestal. The pedestal is formed from two recessed floors of underground parking. The object is four-storey with two overground floors, which are mostly commercialized in the form of lettable spaces (e. g. for business, services, administration, etc.). Another part of the floors is used for technical and hygienic facilities. Two underground floors can be used by employees and visitors for car parking. Access to these floors is provided by a car lift, personal lifts and two stairs that connect all floors. The principle of the draft consists in the intention to place the mass of the building in the environment in the most sensitive way, so that the building doesn't act heavily, such as the surrounding settlement, but naturally follows the surrounding two-storey houses. That was achieved by the material solution of the above-ground floors. Five materials prevail in the exterior. Extensive vegetative roof, face concrete, two types of fitted facades (DuPontTM Corian® facade panels + glass panels with a sign symbolizing the crowns of trees and shrubs; other types of facade are vertical metal lamellae). Another predominant material is glass, which is used for the interconnection tunnel and the north and south facade.
