Comparison of motor abilities levels of volleyball and basketball players
Štembergová, Anna ; Hájková, Jana (advisor) ; Chrástková, Martina (referee)
The main aim of this thesis is to determine and compare the level of motor skills of volleyball and basketball players aged 13-16 years. Using the Unifittest (6-60) supplemented with the Jacík test, we measured the level of motor skills of the players of both sports. The measured values were then compared with each other and statistically evaluated. The theoretical part is mainly focused on the characteristics of the individual motor abilities, a general description and a description of the performance in relation to the physiology of the two sports games observed and ontogeny during adolescence. In the practical part, we have stated the main and secondary objectives of the work, stated the hypotheses, described the work procedure and the basic characteristics of the study population. Furthermore, we presented all the measured results and visualized them by charts for better clarity. In the last part of the thesis, we statistically evaluated all the data and on this basis accepted or rejected the stated hypotheses. In the discussion, we also compared the results of the respondents with the general population. Based on all the findings, we presented 11 conclusions of the thesis which correspond to the main objective and secondary objectives of this thesis. KEYWORDS volleyball, basketball, motor...
Motor ability levels of secondary school boys practising handball
Gašparovič, Ondřej ; Hájková, Jana (advisor) ; Dlouhý, Martin (referee)
The aim of this study is to compare the level of physical abilities of boys of older school age involved in handball and the general population, using the test battery of the Czech Handball Association 2020. A total of 53 test subjects, divided into two groups (general population and handball players) filled in a questionnaire that was created for the purpose of the study and were subsequently tested with a battery of tests, consisting of agility T-test, dribbling after the "figure eight", shooting speed, long jump from the spot and Beep test. The results showed that the handball group performed better in all the tested disciplines, except for the agility T-test. The aim of the thesis was achieved as well as answering each of the research questions, and an interesting recommendation is the possibility of using the test battery to select new players for a team.
The movement skills of children in the compulsory year of preschool education
Kašová, Michaela ; Pádivý, Martin (advisor) ; Suchý, Jiří (referee)
The aim of the thesis was to acquire information from educators about: conditions for physical activities, versatile movement development and movement skills of children in the compulsory preschool education and to measure the level of movement skills of this group of children. The thesis is based on theoretical and empirical research. Theoretical part characterizes preschool period with the emphasis on the child's development and presents some documents, that are crucial for development of movement skills in kindergartens. Then it introduces the activities in kindergartens which leads to development of activity and health of children. Theoretical part is ended by a chapter about possibilities of measuring the movement of preschool children. In a practical part the questionnaires were used and information about conditions for physical activities, versatile movement development and movement skills of children in the compulsory preschool education were obtained from educators from different regions of the Czech Republic. Acquired information shows that conditions for physical activities varies a lot in different kindergartens. The most limiting conditions in most of the kindergartens are time and space, in some schools even material equipment. Spontaneous physical activities are usually done every...
The Creation of a Training Program to Improve the Coordination Skills in a Youth Soccer Team FK Jindřichův Hradec 1910
VOTAVA, Filip
This bachelor thesis focuses on making a training program designed to improve coordination skills of the under-15 category players from the FK Jindřichův Hradec 1910 club. The program contains a set of specific and nonspecific exercises, which are easy to understand for this age group and are also not demanding on the equipment of the club. The exercises are focused on developing the coordination skills of players. The training program is targeted for the FK Jindřichův Hradec 1910 club. The training program can also be used by other clubs of similar performance and similar equipment. The FK Jindřichův Hradec 1910 club has long not reached the level of the most successful clubs in the country. The analytical part of this thesis contains an explanation of the complexity of the term coordination and its unclear delimitation and complex definitions. It also contains information from the theory of sports training, and the specifics of age categories. The thesis focuses on theoretical bases for making a practical training program and methods of verification. Included in this thesis is a set of testing exercises that are focused on the coordination components of football players. The set of testing exercises is based on the literature and can serve as a source of information for verifying the effectiveness of the training program.
Verification of the influence of a special training program on the development of motor skills of younger school hockey players
CIBOCH, David
The diploma thesis is aimed to create a training program for hockey players of school age and to confirm its effectiveness in practice. The created program consists of eight types of exercises. Two teams of hockey players were created for this experience. In total, there were thirty-two players between the age of ten to eleven. We made an entry test for both teams. One team trained according to our new training program and another team trained as usual. We made final testing of both teams after nine weeks. The testing was being made by four tests on an ice rink, that would test the movement ability of young hockey players. We verified both groups' results separately and statistically by pair t-test at the level of significance 0,05 and then we counted factual significance. Subsequently, we compared the results of both groups against each other, which we also proved statistically by using an unpaired t-test. There was an improvement in all measuring tests in the experimental group, which was also confirmed by statistical significance.
Changes of movement abilities during ontogenesis in youth sports' children.
Sádecká, Kristýna ; Malá, Lucia (advisor) ; Šteffl, Michal (referee)
Title: Changes in motor skills during ontogenesis in young children of schoolage. Objectives: The aim of the work was to identify changes in movement abilities during ontogeny in sports children of younger school age. Methods: This work is processed by the method of data analysis, which we drew from the available literature, documents and professional articles. We also used the method of comparison, which was used to compare the data with the data we obtained from the elementary school Benešovo nám. and further compared them using graphs and tables. The research from the obtained data is carried out from the first stage of primary school, specifically from the 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade, and consists of tests for long jump, sprint for 60 m and throwing a ball. Here we used basic statistical characteristics such as arithmetic mean, standard deviation. Results: As a result of the work, the first hypothesis of non-linear change in the 60m run test between 3-5 was not confirmed. class. For the second hypothesis, smaller gender differences in the development of speed skills than in strength skills were confirmed. By evaluating for practice, we can say that children's motor skills change and it is important to focus on them individually. The development of individual abilities is very important and the...

Šula, Marek ; Šteffl, Michal (advisor) ; Větrovský, Tomáš (referee)
Title: The relationship between physical fitness and selected tests of cognitive functions in pupils of elementary schools Objectives: The main aim of the thesis was to estimate the relationship between physical fitness and cognitive abilities among pupils of elementary schools Methods: The thesis was carried out as a cross-sectional study. Pupils aged 8 to 12 years (n = 66; age 9.8 ± 0.8) participated in the study. The cognitive abilities were determined using standardized online tests on the portal www.proskoly.cz, and the physical fitness levels was determined using the test battery Unifittest (6-60) Results: The girls did not differ from the boys in any of the tests. In the overall group, the relationships between cognitive abilities and physical fitness were very weak and statistically not significant. However, in girls, we found indirectly proportional statistically significant (p <0.05) relationships between the Visual Memory test and all the physical fitness tests as well as between the Perception test and Standing Long Jump test, Shuttle Run Agility test, Endurance test, and overall Unifittest (6-60) score. No statistically significant relationship was found in the boys; however, the correlation indicated that the relationships were directly proportional Key words: cognitive abilities,...
