The theoretical part includes the basal ganglia pathophysiology, etiopathogenesis and clinical manifestations of the disease, the possibility of diagnosis and treatment of disease. Acquaints with procedures of rehabilitation treatment, with specific methods and their application by geriatric patients. The practical part consists 2 case reports of patients. The first patient suffers from Parkinson's disease and the second one suffers from Parkinson's syndrome. Patients underwent a 4 and 5-week rehabilitation treatment at Home for the elderly in Dvůr Králové nad Labem.
