Zouhar, František ; Šolc, František (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This work deals with designing and testing of education model "Helicopter with two rotors". The first part is focused on the consturction. Function requirement and set of options of solutions appointed. One of options is chosen and developed by 3D CAD systems. Balance-sheet of possible materials is elaborated in the maximum level available motor pull. Central placing of model is proposed to be able to move in 3 axes. The force electronic are designed and constructed in the second part. Suitable sensors, control method of motor speed and power support are chosen. According to this part the printed circuit board is created, which work as interface between PC (card MF624) and helicopter. In the last part model parameters are identificated and PID control is constructed. Selection procedure of parameters is analyzed in detail, each difficulties are mentioned and obtained data are evaluated. PID control is realized by degrees with regard to complexity of controlling the axes. Problems with disturbance and its impact on control is discussed also.
Camera for biological applications
Jurák, Petr ; Slovák, Jiří (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the design of IP blocks for thermal camera. This termal camera is intended for plant research. The main part of the thermal camera is an infrared detector that detects a frequency in the range of 8 – 14 m. The analogue signal obtained is modified and subsequently digitized. The detector also includes a Peltier device which is designed for both detector cooling and heating, and is controlled by an external signal. The MicroZed development board implements IP blocks. The thermal camera is designed to be controlled from the MicroZed board. Device analysis is first described from the theoretical part to the design of IP blocks.
Comparative study of discrete PSD controllers
Pelikán, Radek ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor's thesis was verification and comparison of heterogenous structures of discrete PSD controllers. First thing mentioned is method of converting continuous PID controllers to discrete PSD controllers. After that I described basic types and structures of discrete controllers. I verified the controllers using computer simulation and control of real systems. I described integral criteria of regulation quality and tried setting of controllers using Ziegler-Nichols method and on ITAE criterion minimum. I mainly focused at classic PSD controller and PSD controllers with filtration of derivative component in old and new design. All controllers were compared.
Settings of parameters PID controllers with using boths Ziegler - Nichols methods
Bulenínec, Martin ; Burlak, Vladimír (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with adjusting the PID parameters with filtered derivative component and I-PD controllers. The setting is used both methods, of Ziegler and Nichols. Work explains cases of failure of this method. The problem is solved by adding the sampling period due to A/D and D/A converters. Then is searched optimally adjust the controller extension of the sampling period. For the calculation and simulation is used program MATLAB and SIMULINK .
Theatre Stage Control System with Graphics Interface
Melo, Damián ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor work is control of theatre stage technology. The methods and algorithms of control of electric motors and other action elements are discussed along with specific requirements for theatre technology and its simulation. Also, a simulator of stage connected to the user interface was implemented.
Solution of Continuous Systems by Evolutionary Computational Techniques
Lang, Stanislav ; Šeda, Miloš (referee) ; Olehla, Miroslav (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The thesis deals the issue of solution of continuous systems by evolutionary computational techniques. Evolutionary computing techniques fall into the field of softcomputing, an advanced metaheuristics optimization that is becoming more and more a method of solving complicated optimization problems with the gradual increase in computing performance of computers. The solution of continuous systems, or the synthesis of continuous control circuits, is one of the areas where these advanced algorithms find their application. When dealing with continuous systems we will focus on regulatory issues. Evolutionary computing can then become a tool not only for optimization of controller parameters but also to design its structure. Various algorithms (genetic algorithm, differential evolution, etc.) can be used to optimize the parameters of the controller, for the design of the controller structurewe usually encounter so called grammatical evolution. However, the use of grammatical evolution is not necessary if appropriate coding is used, as suggested in the presented thesis. The thesis presents a method of designing the structure and parameters of a general linear controller using the genetic algorithm. A general linear regulator is known also as so called polynomial controller, if we encounter the polynomial theory of control. The method of encoding the description of the general linear controller into the genetic chain is crucial, it determines a set of algorithms that are usable for optimization and influence the efficiency of the calculations. Described coding, effective EVT implementation, including multi-criteria optimization, is a key benefit of this work.
Hardware realization of hospital information system
Friedl, Jan ; Roleček, Jiří (referee) ; Fedra, Petr (advisor)
The presented work concerns problems of more effective using hardware and also free software. The first part of my work presents generally free GNU/Linux distributions and this part is concentrated on two distributions. The first is Red Hat Enterprise Linux which is installed in the server of the hospital information system Clinicom. The second is live distribution Slax that is used for testing of terminal connection to the hospital information system Clinicom. The second part of my work is generally concentrated on the hospital information systems and there is presented the firm SMS solution at the end. It is the hospital information system Clinicom. The next part is generally concentrated on the workload server monitoring. It monitors both userlogins and allocated memory size. Then there are discused problems of solution of unthought-of events, for example blackout, and the one solution is described there. The last part is concentrated on implementation of the security connection to the hospital information system Clinicom and it presents live distribution Slax as distribution for thin client.
Model of electric furnance for heat-resistant material processing
Franek, Lešek ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Dvořáček, Martin (advisor)
Content of the document is to create model of kiln, compare result with the real kiln. There is described 3D design in SolidWorks application, creation of a physical model in COMSOL Multiphysics and its export to Simulink. Subsequently is described the Simulink scheme, functions of program parts and visualization in B&R Automation Studio. The obtained results are compared with measured values. There is also described the design of a controller with a off-line identification.
Design of construction, control and electronics for unstable balancing vehicle
Zouhar, František ; Krejčí, Petr (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
Thesis deals with design of construction, control and electronics for unstable balancing vehicle. The rst part is focused on the determination of requirements for the function and then design and manufacture of structure in line with set requirements, including 3D models and drawings. The second part is devoted to the creation of simulation models of vehicles using the Lagrange equations of the second kind and using SimMechanics. Also PID and LQR regulators are designed, including the advantages and disadvantages of each regulator for this application. The last part is focused on electronics necessary to vehicle operating. They are mainly power electronics (H-bridge, battery charger, switching supply of voltage board). There are also necessary calculations, complete PCB design and a description of the rmware for the this specifc device.
Modeling and control of rear driven axle for Formula Student
Kavec, Matúš ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design of controll structure of Formula Student monopost. Part of the thesis is a design and subsequent debgging ofthe model so it has the best possible response compared to reality. A PID controller with two degrees of freedom was used to create the control structure. Created controll structure has the task of regulating the system to the required value. By reducing skid, which is often unwanted in race cars, we can achieve better response while accelerating.
