Evaluative prefixes archi-, super-, hyper-, extra- in present-day French

This work is concerned with using of evaluative prefixes of types archi-, extra-, hyper- and super- in french. The theoretical part concentrates on connecting of these prefixes with different types of words, like nouns, adjectives, adverbs and verbs. We are concerned above all with adjectives, where these prefixes are used when forming an absolute superlative. Further ways of forming an absolute superlative are specified here for comparison with the use of these prefixes. Furthermore, this work examines the use of these lexemes as single standing words. The practical part targets concrete examples of prefix connections archi-, extra-, hyper-, super- with adjectives used by native speakers. The target is to investigate according to which rule these prefixes are connected with adjectives, which one is the most and the least used and if there is any diference in using these prefixes among men and women. Toward Inflexible Parts of Speech and Bounderies between Them in the Contemporary Czech

This work in its first part lays out ways of classifying words into parts of speech, followed by criteria of these classifications. The second part covers the definition of adverbs, particles and conjunctions within Czech grammar. In the third part, the way grammar reflects overlap of the discussed parts of speech is analyzed. The interpretations of these issues in independent studies and monographs is also included. The last part of the work constitutes of individual research, which, based on carefully picked data, brings the overview of functions and properties of selected expressions. The aim of the work is to determine, by corpus analysis, which expressions belong to which part of speech and with which criteria the category of such can be determined.

Present Perfect versus Past Tense with adverbs like just, recently, lately

The bachelor's dissertation focuses on an issue of usage of present perfect and past simple tense with adverbs as "just, recently and lately", which are usually used with present perfect tense. To look into the usage of adverbial "in the past" is another task of the bachelor's dissertation. Grammatik says that adverbial "in the past", is not usual to combine with present perfect tense but with past simple tense. The research is based on British National Corpus database. The main aim of the research is to find out the number of sentences written in present perfect tense or past simple tense in combination with the given adverbials. The other aim is to compare the usage of given tenses with adverbials in specific text types or text domains.
Expressing the attributes in the greatest degree in spanish and czech magazines for young people

In this thesis we concentrate on superlatives and other expressions to the greatest degree. The aim of this thesis is to map these expressions in the Spanish language of the youth and the Czech language of the youth. The thesis is divided to several parts. The first part describes expressions to the greatest degree, elatives, superlatives or other expressions of intensification from several different perspectives and the diversity of different theories represented by czech and spanish linguists. Then we mention global influence of the Language and we stipulate hypothesis. And in the second part we analyze czech and spanish magazines for young people, finding superlatives, elatives or other terms expressing the greatest degree. The result of this thesis is a well-arranged and organized report about the frequency, mood and fashion of different expressions of intensification, elatives or superlatives. In the conclusion we graphically demonstrate the frequency of different expressions and we prove the theoretical hypotheses.
Terms expressing superlatives in the language of the youth (magazines for young people)

And in the second part we analyze magazines for young people, finding superlatives or other terms expressing the greatest degree. The result of this thesis is a well-arranged and organized report about the frequency of different superlatives. In the conclusion we graphically demonstrate the frequency of different superlatives and we prove the theoretical hypotheses.
