Respondents of the Spanish superlative absolute (contrastive corpus analysis)

This bachelor thesis deals mainly with the Spanish absolute superlative and the issue of its translation into the Czech language. In the theoretical part, the general characteristics, classification and gradation of adjectives are introduced in general, and then the absolute superlative is discussed in great detail. In the practical part, a representative sample for a given linguistic phenomenon is defined and excerpted, and its mutual response in both languages is monitored, based on a corpus analysis in the Czech National Corpus InterCorp. The aim of the work is to collect the language means used for the translation of the absolute superlative and their frequency.
Adjectival, Verbal and Nominal Collocational Patterns of the Word ´ life´.

The topic of this diploma thesis is the adjectival, verbal and nominal collocational patterns of the word {\clqq}life.`` In the theoretical part I started with the terms {\clqq}collocations and syntagmatic relations`` and compared different points of view of various authors. Then I briefly mentioned the peculiarities of the following terms: adjective, noun and verb. Nevertheless, my thesis focuses on practical reseach of the examined excerpts. This part is mainly concerned with the functions which the word {\clqq}life`` can have and explores what adjectives, verbs and nouns it habitually collocates with.
French adjectives that change meaning according to the word order

In this bachelor thesis, I would like to distinguish the meaning of french adjectives. Some french adjectives change the meaning in a sentence regarding where they stand. It might be in front of the noun or behind it. I would also like to compare french and czech adjectives in terms of a meaning in a sentence. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to describe the difference of some adjectives´ meaning in french. The second part will consist of working with czech corpus and searching adjectives to compare their position in the sentence.
Dutch compound adjectives with strengthening meaning without equivalents in Czech

(English): The topic of this bachelor thesis is Dutch compound adjectives with strengthening meaning, while this issue is considered from the point of view of a native speaker of Czech language. The author focuses primarily on the possibilities of translating this phenomenon from Dutch into Czech. Taking account of the differences between these two languages and their systems, the author will try to achieve the highest possible semantic consensus. Theoretical foundations for the research are sought in the knowledge based on morphology, word formation, semantics and translation studies. These bases are then applied in practice, to the author's own translation of a predefined group of compound adjectives with strengthening meaning. The main aim of the thesis is to assess the translatability of these adjectives into Czech and subsequently to compare the appropriateness of different translation equivalents. The Role of Adjectives in Journalistic Texts.

The thesis deals with position of adjective in journalictic styl. The aim of this thesis is to find out frequency of postposition and anteposition of adjectives which depend on nouns. The result of this thesis is an evaluation of this grammatical phenomenon in selected spanish texts.\\ In the conclusion we graphically demonstrate the frequency of different types of adjectives. From the obtained results are created a table and a graph.
