Business Plan to Purchase a Tractor for Stepan Manak Winery

The aim of this diploma thesis is to propose the most optimal variant of financing the investment project of the winery. The core of the work is to comparative analysis of a subsidy programme, a bank loan and a leasing. The diploma thesis is consists of two main parts. In the theoretical part, I am going to explain the sources of project financing and ways which determine the effectiveness of the project. The practical part evaluates the management of the winery and describes budget of project. In conclusion, I suggest the specific possibility of project financing.

The aim of the thesis is to elaborate a model application form a subsidy for the project of sewerage and water purification plant construction in Sloupnice.
Financing of business projects

The aim of this diploma thesis is to define possibilities of financing business projects with an emphasis on funding sources of the European Union and Czech republic. In a form of a case study there is described the application of selected public funding sources used for a specific project of a company together with instructions and recommendations how to get through the process and what should not be underestimated. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines types of private and public funding sources, the second one deals with public funding sources and specifically describes the financial possibilities defined by the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness and the Operational Programme Environment. The last chapter is conceived in a form of a case study describing the entire process of financing a real project with financial contribution from the Operational Program Environment.
Impact of Structural Funds on municipalities: Empirical study on wastewater treatment and collection

This thesis analyzes the effect of Structural Funds from European Union on municipalities' financial results. It focuses on grants concerning waste water treatment's projects in the Czech Republic and the size of municipalities co-financing these grants. The aim is to determine the difference in financial results of municipalities using the grant and the others, followed by numeration of the difference by municipalities' own resources. To compare the municipalities, we use difference in differences approach. The OLS regression is used for estimate the effect of own resources. The results show that size of municipalities' co-financing, usually mentioned as 10%, is in fact in average 35%. There exists a large significant difference in financial results comparing pre- treatment and post-treatment period in municipalities building waste water treatment project financed from Structural Funds. It is also significantly determined by the amount of own resources. Subsidy Support of the Sustainable Waste Management

The subject of the dissertation is the issue of the waste management with special emphasis on the recycling of the construction and demolition waste. The recourse is an analysis of the key instruments regulating the activities and behaviour of market operators in this field toward fulfilling all-society priorities and principles of the sustainable development, where special accent is put on the area of subsidy policies and programmes. The aim of the dissertation is to analyse and evaluate the setting of the selected subsidy programme in terms of economic and ecological efficiency with the emphasis on the assessment of the impact on the recipient. The subject of the research will be a priority axis 4 "Improvement of Waste Management and Removal of Old Environmental Burdens" within the Operational Programme Environment 2007 - 2013. In the literature review basic concepts and important definitions are defined, followed by the comprehensive and complex searches of the problematics from different angles of view. First of all, the global aspect of environmental protection is discussed, broader historical, legal, economic and political contexts, that are essential fundament for understanding the current and future challenges both globally regionally, are summarized. Hereafter, a more detailed description of the situation of the European Union is followed, then the overview is completed by a detailed view at the state of the problematics in the Czech Republic. Subsequent chapters are devoted to a detailed analysis of the waste management sector, again in terms of global, European and national standpoint, in the end the view is focused on the key issue of the dissertation problematics of construction and demolition waste. In the application part the fulfilling of the stated objective of the dissertation through four defined hypothesis is solved. Hypotheses verify the efficiency and appropriateness of the setting of the system of subsidies in the frame of the monitored programme. The emphasis is imposed on the assessment of the impact of the allocated subsidies to the private entities on their economic and environmental efficiency.
Evaluating the effectiveness of communication activities of the Operational Programme Environment

The diploma thesis is divided into two parts-theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part presents EU Structural Policy issues, even in the context of the Czech Republic. The practical part focuses on evaluation the progress in attitude of expert public to enviromental issues, the Structural Funds and the Operational Programme Environment (OPE). The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the way of communication towards expert public and on that basis to suggest changes in communication strategy of OPE in the periode 2014-2020.
Obtaining the resources from the operational programmes for financing the needs of the chosen company

This diploma thesis is focused on obtaining the resources from the operational programmes for financing the needs of a chosen company. The first part describes the overview of the current status of discussed problematics. There are described Regional policies in Europe and the Czech Republic and the reasons of establishment, regional development, the administrative division of the Czech Republic and the last programming period from 2007 to 2013 and this programming period from 2014 to 2020. The second part are own results. There are characteristics of a chosen company and of the priority axes within which the company submitted the subsidy application. The next is a subsidy application, approval of this application, the overall implementation of the project and its subsequent sustainability, benefits and risks of this obtained subsidy and its own insights.
Hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti veřejně prospěšného projektu a způsoby jeho financování

The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Literature research explains the main concepts related to the subject of the work. Subsequently the thesis desribes methods used to evaluate investments. It is pointed to their strengths and weaknesses and the possibilities of their use. Attention is also paid to public expenditure programs which will be followed by the proposal of specific capital sources from which the project can be financed. The practically oriented part analyzes the project "Thermal insulation of the kindergarten Vinohrady". At first the situation and the current state of the educational system in Česká Třebová are briefly described. The characteristics of the selected project are followed and it passes in CBA method which was chosen for this project. The aim is to determine whether for the society and the investor the project is beneficial or not. The evaluation of economic efficiency of the project is followed by the financial analysis of the city Česká Třebová, which evaluates the economic situation of the city and determines whether the investor has sufficient resources to the smooth financing of the project.
