User Interface for Monitoring and Control of Visitors
Nosek, Petr ; Žák, Pavel (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This document contains a description of a design and implementation of a user interface for monitoring and control of visitors. Information about incoming visitors and assigned guest cards are recorded in this electronic evidence. Guest card allows a user free movement inside the object. Receptionist has always a summary of current visitors and the length of their stays. In the document there are also mentioned techniques and procedures which speeded up program development and  reduced number of errors.

Tutorial to database access and object relational mapping for Software engineering course projects
Oktábec, Jiří ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (referee)
According to new study plan of Software engineering course. Students should already have finished course of Databases. With those skills students will as a final course project create a Java application, that will communicate with database, while using Object-Relational mapping concepts. This guide is created to help them with using Hibernate framework to achieve their desired goals. This guide also contains information about Object-relational mapping in Hibernate framework and tips how to generate useful code using NetBeans IDE.
Hibernate framework
Pekárek, Tomáš ; Mészáros, Jan (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
The thesis concentrates on an issue of object relation mapping and on Hibernate framework that is used for the mapping. After reading the thesis the reader should be able to use this framework for creating some basic real applications. The thesis also contains short theoretical introduction into object relational mapping including differences between objects in object oriented mapping and relations database, which are known as "The paradigm mismatch". To complete the teaching purpose of the thesis, to teach reader to work with Hibernate, a short tutorial is included. The tutorial also contains examples in both printed and electronic form as source codes. The way to install the framework is included same as the techniques of associations mapping using annotations and also some basic functions of Hibernate query language. As a practical demonstration of Hibernate usage the thesis includes a simple application for working with database of gambling machines.
Comparison of ORM frameworks for PHP
Procházka, Ivan ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Schrotter, Michal (referee)
This study deals with a comparison of object relational mapping frameworks for PHP program language. On theoretical review, it describes the possibilities of mapping and available design patterns for mapping are presented. Basic principles of object oriented programming and relational databases are surveyed. For a comparison of tools, a model case of a library is suggested and implemented in chosen tools. Based on specified criteria, a comparison of selected frameworks is given. The main goal is to evaluate features of chosen frameworks, demonstrate their usage on the model case of a library and summarize the possibilities of object relational mapping on PHP platform.
