The aim of this master’s project is to develop project documentation of a new-built mountain hotel in Ostružná. This hotel is near the ski area Ramzová in Jeseníky. Foundation of my building is from ground reinforced concrete slab. My building is supported by clay block load-bearing walls and clay non-load bearing walls. Exterior building envelope is designed as an aluminum shingle ventilated facade. The slabs are from reinforced concrete. The roofs of this designed building are two, first is pitched roof with insulation over rafters and second is intensive green warm flat roof. This project contains HVAC concept, photovoltaic panel concept, heating concept in technical equipment of building part. The third part of my master’s project is energy assessment for the building.
Mountain hotel in Králíky
Hoffmannová, Zdislava ; Buchta, Stanislav (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The subject of this thesis was a structural design of a timber structure of a mountain hotel in Králíky. The object was a three storey building in a shape of letter U. The project was made in two different variations. The first one consisted of timber frame system with walls securing spacial stability. Computational model was created as a spacial bar 3D model in SCIA Engineer 19.1. The internal forces were calculated using the linear static analysis. The loadbearing structure was designed according to ultimate and serviceability limit states in SCIA Engineer 19.1. The thesis includes joints and anchorage design according to valid standards. Glue laminated timber was chosen as a material for the loadbearing structure while solid timber was chosen for wall structures. The second variation was made out of cross laminated panels. Wall panels were calculated by hand calculation whereas floor and roof panels were calculated using Agrop Nova Element software. Spatial model was made in SCIA Engineer 19.1 software to design joints and for global deformation check as well. The thesis includes engineering report, structural design report as well as drawings.
Wooden Based Hotel in Mountains
Zuczek, Jan ; Konečná, Petra (referee) ; Králová, Zuzana (advisor)
The subject of my thesis is the design of new mountain hotel based on wood, which is located at the top of Little Maple, cadastral area Trinec-Tyra, the city of Trinec, Frydek-Mistek level documentation for construction. The building has a partial basement, with three floors. The supporting system consists of three structural systems. The structural system consists of basement formwork, the first floor is made of ceramic blocks heluz, second and third floor is designed as a timber frame panel. Roof structure is made up of lattice wood trusses and gabled aisle. Proposal mountain hotel respects the territorial plan of Trinec. Furthermore, emphasis is placed on the layout, including ensuring the design to the static, architectural, energy savings and safety in the use of the building.

Stiff reinforced concrete prefabricated and prefamonolitic ceiling constructions from the company BS Klatovy are designed. Roofing is designed with tilt roof. The bearing construction is made up of purlin system of wood truss. Height of the roof ridge, including the covering is +13.650 m (considering relative height of 0.000). The height of the chimney head is +14.400 m. Profiled metal roof covering Lindab Goodlock is designed.

Master’s thesis is based on analysis and design of a load bearing structure of an mountains hotel. Mountain hotel schould be realized in the village Vernirovice in Šumperk district. The proposed structure is formed 4th floors. In 1.NP is a restaurant, a sports and wellness center. In 2.NP in the right side is situated the swimming pool. In 2 to 4 floor are located rooms. This structure is supported with a strip footing made of reinforced concrete. The main load-bearing elements in the vertical direction are in 1.NP reinforced concrete walls and columns, the upper floors bearing masonry walls of ceramic blocks THERM. The inner support walls are 300 mm thick, outside support walls are 400 mm thick. Floors are constructed of carrying plates with girders above the larger openings. These plates and girders are made of reinforced concrete. In the 2 floor are beams with the span of 8,8 m. These girders are designed of prestressed concrete cause the large loads. Individual levels are connected with monolithic concrete staircases. Around the middle of the building is a monolithic reinforced concrete elevator shaft. The highest elevation above grade level is 16 m. The thesis also deals with relevant drawing documentations for chosen parts of construction. The building is located in the ski area VI and IV wind areas.
