Úspěšnost výsadeb druhu Acacia saligna v závislosti na technických protierozních opatřeních realizovaných v jižní Etiopii

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the success of planting Australian tree Acacia saligna depending on the anti-erosion measures so-called improved pits. Planting and counter erosion measures were implemented under previous projects. On basis of established methodology, field data collection was carried out in February 2017. Collected data were evaluated by statistical methods suitable for the detection of dependencies. On the basis of these analyzes, graphs of individual dependencies were created, which were used to compare states of two plantations of different age. In the search part of the thesis are collected information about the place of research, the issue of erosion and the species Acacia saligna itself.

Dendrochronologické datování a stavebně historické hodnocení krovu budovy LDF MENDELU v Brně

On inquiry of LDF MENDELU in Brno the age of wooden roof truss of building B of LDF MENDELU in Cerne Pole was determined. At the same time the age of wooden roof truss of building A in the university s areal was determined. Moreover, a compilation architectural and historical development of the same constructions was done. Because of the dendrochronological analysis, it is possible to date wood of archaeological researches, historical buildings or roof truss. In this bachelor thesis, the standard dendrochronological process is described; from obtaining initial samples, through samples treatment, determining of the type of wooden elements using anatomical structure, measurements of samples until final dating. The basis of historical development was formed with the aid of historical sources and articles, where it was possible to find the beginning of foundation of Mendel university in Cerna Pole and early history of buildings A and B, when building A served as an institute for blind people. Results which were found shows that condition of both constructions is good. Afterwards, the results were compared with available literature. Despite the fact, that both of buildings were damaged during The Second World War, roof truss preserved.

Zhodnocení úspěšnosti výsadeb v rámci protierozních opatření z roku 2012 v oblasti Umbulo Kajima (SNNPR, Etiopie)

The content of my bachelor thesis is to evaluate the survival rate of outplantings in 2012 on the territory of south-western Ethiopia, the project area Awassa Zuryia Woreda, area of Umbulo Kajima. Based on selected methodology field research of plantations in Umbulo Kajima was carried out. Survival rate of all outplanted species and the success of anti-erosion measures implemented under the previous project has been evaluated. In this work, also reserche information about planted tree species have been collected, due to their anti-erosion potential. The research of success plantings was carried out in July 2014. According to the results of the work the average survival rate of trees is 80%.

The bachelor thesis deals with public relations activities of the Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies (FRRMS) Mendel University in Brno (MENDELU). The aim of the thesis is to analyze public relations activities, what relations has FRRMS with the public. In the theoretical part is defined the meaning of the public relations, goals, starting points, tools and forms of public relations and the concepts associated with PR. The practical part contains the characteristic of university and faculty and their current situation in the promotion. In the end of the practical part is through the questionnaire survey analyze the knowledge of a wider audience about FRRMS. It is described how the public rate communication of the faculty and suggestions for get propagation more effective.
