Presentation of manuscripts at exhibitions

Prezentace rukopisů na výstavách Abstract This bachelor thesis is dedicated to manuscripts and their presentation on exhibitions. I try to explain based on the relevant librarianship and curatorship literature what rules should the maker of exhibition follow, if they wish to present manuscripts without exposing them to possible harm by light, humidity or rough manipulation. The next chapter is dedicated to theory and process of making exhibitions and also the current question of making use of the modern technology while presenting medieval manuscripts. Lastly I analyse some particular exhibitions with the help of a checklist and examine whether they are in line with the abovementioned requirements.
