Power over Ethernet implementation
Šturala, Martin ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement a power supply module for an end station network device with an optional 5 V or 3.3 V output, which supports power over ethernet technology, both for active and passive method of this technology. The work is focused on the design of a hardware solution to this problem. A Texas Instruments TPS2373 chip supporting the latest technology according to the IEEE802.3bt specification was chosen to implement active POE. The LM317 linear stabilizer was chosen to implement the passive POE.
Enterprise Network Design and Simulation - Cisco Virtual Lab
Project of communication network infrastructure for office building
Kajan, Tomáš ; Sedlák, Petr (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a communication infrastructure of a multi-story office building. The work deals with a design of a metallic horizontal wires, as well as optical vertical wires between the floors of the building. One of the main factors, which the proposal was based on, was the possibility of renting the building to several tenants. As a part of the project is also partially designed wireless network and the whole work is concluded by an economic evaluation, witch contains active elements, passive elements and approximate price of passive elements installation.
Structured cabling system design for hotel
Novák, Lukáš ; Jordán, Vilém (referee) ; Sedlák, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with a proposal of structured cabling in a business object of Pentagon Hotel. The proposal addresses the use of horizontal and backbone infrastructure of the building using both metallic and fiber wires. The proposal does not deal with active parts of the network, it addresses just their recommended connection. The thesis also deals with the financial aspect of the proposal in the form of a complete budget.
Wide area network monitoring system
Bill, Zdeněk ; Roupec, Jan (referee) ; Heriban, Pavel (advisor)
The subject of this work relates to monitoring of large networks consisting of hundreds of active elements and thousands of users. Study of the subject is situated in the Kolejnet computer network environment, where information system is being used. At the moment, the information system includes basic monitoring of this large network. The goal [of this study] is to architect a system that will allow continuous monitoring of active elements which includes collection of data and logging of important events for immediate and later evaluation of serious circumstances that can arise.
Design of communication network infrastructure for office building
Guzma, Martin ; Jordán, Vilém (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with design of computer network of new projected office building. Whole design is based on requirements of the future owner and certainly on the ground plan of the building. The thesis also describes the procedures and components necessary to build a computer network.
Primary School Computer Network Design
Soukup, Dominik ; Petr,, ROZEHNAL (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a functional computer network for a primary school in Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou. The thesis analyses the current state of the network and based on this analysis proposes its own solution. The aim is to create a network that will not only be functional, but also easily expandable and will fully meet the requirements of the investor.
Desing of a Company Network Infrastructure
Přikryl, Adam ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a computer network for a manufacturing company. The first part is devoted to the analysis of the current state of the company, its facility, needs, current network and the investor's requirements for a new network. The second part summarizes the theoretical background needed to understand the issues of computer network design. The actual design itself is covered in the third part. It is based on an analysis of the current state and includes the selection of passive layer elements, design of cable routes, recommendations for active elements and economic evaluation.
Countryside Ever Changing - LE3N8 LEŠNÁ
Zavadil, Ondřej ; Ženčák, Přemysl (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The goal of the master’s thesis is to return the landscape to the people in the sense of rediscovering wealth in our close neighborhood in connection to the relationship between people and the landscape. The work and theoretical background is used in my place of residence, which is the cadastral area of Lešná, which includes 7 municipalities (Lešná, Jasenice, Lhotka nad Bečvou, Mštěnovice, Perná, Příluky and Vysoká). The basis for the work became a personal relationship to the location and physical research in the form of walking the area in a straight line, along paths and finding connections in the landscape. By simply changing my movement, I was able to perceive my own intense experience, which I rely on in my designs. In the area, I have selected 8 places with a unique character, to which I apply the proposed buildings. Each of these unique places has a name in history, but few people know it today. Through specific architectural designs, I return names to these places and bring them back to life through the people who begin to discover these places.
Design of communication network in an office building
Woletz, Jakub ; Sedlák, Petr (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
