GRIVIUK, Daria
The subject of this bachelor's paper is the research dedicated to the image of russian literature on the papers of Slovanský přehled magazine in 1899-1980. The main purpose of this work is to create a clear picture how the russian liturature was presented on the example of the three most famous writers: Leo Nikolajevich Tolstoy, Fjodor Mihailovich Dostojevsky and Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin in a wider cultural and historical context. Then author's attitude and objective reasons of their presentation are being studied; whether it was connected to the celebration of anniversaries of their lifetime, translations or public demand. At last but not least this work will try to discover the differences in interpretation of chosen writers and their works in russian and czech environment. This comparison represents the changes of czech cultural and political situation in individual historical fazes (before the year 1914, the period between the wars of 1918-1938, fifties, sixties and seventies, also known as normalization) and connected to them public role of this magazine.
