The essay is based on urban development of Komin meadows and proposal of football academy. In the proposal is centre line, which is connecting two entrances to the area and is splitting the area in two parts.The first part by the river is for relaxation, pick-nicks etc. It behaves as a city park. In the proposal you'll find inorganic river basin for swimming, ice skating, renting pedals. Created islands behaves as a forest parks with insistence to protect original biotopes of the river. Other entrances connect tram stops No.1. From these entrances conduct paths to the centre line and split the area into primary flow lines. Next splitting of the area into secondary structure is by paths erected to the centre line. Size of the paths is in the measure of football ground and are located in important points of the area. Individual flow lines could be flowed by water. Those flow lines which can be flowed by water most frequently behaves as gardens, sample agriculture, sports areas with absolute access. Other flow lines are for building and setting up sport grounds with supervised access. Football academy is located at crossing of the centre line and path from the tram stop.

A new way of creating the imaginary boundary dividing the site into two parts, the part of the landscape and urban. In the municipal sports facilities will be located, designed for active sports like football, volleyball, basketball and existing venues, such as the Sokol in the northern part of the territory, which has the potential for further development. The publicly accessible sportovištím arises changing facilities and operations. In the scenic zone covers designed for relaxation and recreation. The atmosphere it provides the distance from the busy communication and other noise sources. The zone has a large lawn area for picnics and urged the rest by sporting venues for performances made ??active urban areas.

Assignment of this diploma thesis is to characterize, describe problems and different aspects of contemporary city park. Thesis is devided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical one is subdivided into individual chapters. First chapter is focused on design of contemporary park, present demands,functions, visual aspects and uses. Development of historical parks briefly describe ancient gardens and then continue with design of public city parks, aforesaid are connected with current design, which is the most significant for this work. Modern fine public parks are carefully examined and described, because it can lead us to right approaches in our own designing. Second, practical part, is convenient aplication of all assembled informations and conclusions into final design of Brno's public park in Žabovřeské a Komínské meadows. The selection of this locality refers on up to date world tendencies of integrating river landscapes into city structures.
