System Microsoft Kinect in rehabilitation
Trněná, Gabriela ; Pospíšilová, Mariana (advisor) ; Zounková, Irena (referee)
System Microsoft Kinect is a commercial gaming device with a game console Xbox. Kinect monitors moves of a player who is controlling the device only by these moves. This system provides to the player visual biofeedback about the moves in a real time. Mentioned benefits might be useful also for rehabilitation tools. The aim of this thesis is to summarise the available findings concerning the usage of Kinect in rehabilitation. Part of the thesis includes practical research, where we were interested about Kinect's capability to evaluate a position of oblique sitting. This position might be used in home therapy of functional disorders of musculoskeletal system. Accessory to the practical part was to create a programme that would tell user if he performed the exercise correctly through the visual biofeedback. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
