Creating a Logistics Concept with a Focus on Business in a Business entity

Based on the conclusions of the analysis of the logistics concept and using the theoretical basis, proposals are defined for changes to the logistics concept and thus improve the order process in the company XY, s.r.o. The diploma thesis consists of the theoretical basis of the work and an analysis of the current state of the situation in company. The theoretical part of the thesis explains specific concepts of logistics. The analysis of the current state then describes the course of order from accepting orders to delivery to the customer and the individual procese in the company. In the design part several proposed solutions are presented in order to lead to the current order process and cost savings, and subsequently to higher costumer satisfaction.

Cílem této práce je analyzovat, navrhnout a implementovat informační systém pro řízení zásob dermatologické kliniky. Práce je strukturována do tří hlavních kapitol. První kapitola popisuje teoretická východiska potřebná pro implementaci informačního systému ve formě webové aplikace. Dále jsou popsány různé analytické metody určené pro návrh a implementaci změny ve společnosti. Druhá kapitola analyzuje společnost a současný stav řízení zásob. Poslední část práce se zabývá návrhem, implementací a nasazením aplikace s využitím osvědčených postupů. Je analyzován proces změny, zhodnocena potenciální rizika a odhadnut harmonogram projektu. Dosažené výsledky jsou vyhodnoceny a je navrženo několik dalších vylepšení.

This master thesis is focused on the analysis of the purchasing process in the company Koval Systems s. r. o.. The theoretical part of the thesis defines basic characteristics of the purchasing process, together with the current process of warehousing, logistics, inventory and distribution.. This thesis is analising the current condition of the purchasing process together with current storage process. Based on the theoretical knowledges in the last part of the thesis, there are also highlighted problematic fields and suggested possible solutions, which can help to eliminate identified deficiencies and enable the development of business.

This master‘s thesis deals with the issue of material supply of switchgear assembly of the ABB Company. The thesis mainly focuses on the material manipulation process and storage process. The master‘s thesis analyzes the aforementioned processes in detail and defines their limitations. Based on the identified limitations this thesis proposes concrete improvements for waste reduction which will ultimately lead to minimizing the company’s cost.

The master's thesis deals with possible adjustments in the company's inventory replenishment strategy, which are in accordance with the analyzed factors of the external and internal environment of the company and which respond to the problems arising in the input logistics processes in which this strategy is implemented. The proposed strategy adjustments bring a new perspective on inventory management through inventory optimization and categorization according to differentiated inventory management approach, even in relation to inventories that are subject to deterioration.

This thesis deals with the analysis of a selected e-shop. It is divided into three areas. The first part deals with the statistical analysis of individual products. The second part focuses on inventory. In this thesis, research on the topic of inventory management is carried out. Subsequently, a model is proposed and tested to determine inventory levels. The last part of the thesis deals with customer satisfaction with the carriers transporting packages from e-shops and the influences that affect this satisfaction.

This thesis discuss topic of Grocery shop management software. Primary function is Point of Sale software which is extended by back-office solution including inventory management, management reports, reports required by law etc. Poznámka: SIS píše chybu při nahrávání tohoto souboru, vyžaduje více slov, ale zároveň požaduje abstrakt, což chápu jako kopii abstraktu z odevzdané bakalářské práce. Proto nechávám abstrakt v přesné podobě, jak je uveden v bakalářské práci. Použil jsme doporučený konvertor. Detail chyby: Vybraný soubor BPBC_2010_1__0_229690_0_89245.pdf se nepodařilo uložit Soubor PDF není prohledávatelný. Soubor obsahuje málo slov anebo obsahuje pouze obrázky (problém vzniká nejčastěji při skenování dokumentu bez OCR konverze).

The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic definitions and indicators of financial analysis. The practical part is focused on the presentation of the company and its surroundings and on the factual use of indicators from the previous, theoretical part. The final part is devoted to proposals and recommendations that could lead to the improvement of the company’s financial condition.
