Internationalization in the Environment of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

This diploma thesis examines on a chosen sample the process of internationalization in small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic. It familiarizes the reader with both theoretical aspects and empirical findings. Under the terms of the theoretical aspects, the thesis includes perspectives and determinants of internationalization. Small and medium-sized enterprises are defined too. The methods used in the empirical part of the thesis are analysis, inductive reasoning and questionnaire survey. The results are compared with conducted studies on a similar topic. The thesis also introduces the degree of internationalization, the value of which can give information about all organizational culture, strategy and managerial attitude. Thus, the aim of the thesis is a complete overview about internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic, due to which incentives are given for further exploration, for example in the field of competitiveness on foreign markets.
Analysis of international market strategy and growth opportunities for the retail garment industry in Bulgaria: a case applied to C&A

The thesis attempts to analyze the international business strategy of the company C&A and its search of growth opportunities for the context of Bulgaria. The study relates to international business issues and successively provides a comprehensive overview of potential in the retail industry in Bulgaria as well as critical analysis on the interest of the company to internationalize its activity on the market. The thesis brings sufficient baseline whether to enter the market and how to be successful there.
