Anti-corruption policy in Slovakia

The aim of this paper is to describe the fight against corruption in Slovakia in the country context and international context and to answer following questions: " What is the current state of anti-corruption policy in Slovakia and what is its history since 1998?" and " What is the evaluation of the anti-corruption policy in Slovakia given by the international subjects and to what an extent has this evaluation determined the development of anti-corruption policy? The paper contents theory about corruption, its different kinds, reasons and consequences, the outlook about the current legislative frame and significant laws, the governmental anti-corruption programs and perception of the corruption by the public and GRECO and OECD.
Small states and international organizations – Example of Iceland

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse relations of small states with international organizations. The first part of the thesis focuses on advantages and disadvantages of smallness of states in international relations and general reasons of joining international organizations. The second part focuses on Iceland as an example of a small state. The third and largest part analyses relations of small states with specific international organizations.
Comparative Analysis of the Economic Growth of China and India since the mid 1990's

The content of this diploma thesis is a comparison of China and India, not only from an economic point of view, since the mid 1990's. Both countries are compared from the perspective of their specifics (geographical, political, cultural and human resources), macroeconomic indicators and economic sectors of each country. Savings, investments, foreign trade, FDI, infrastructure and membership in international organizations or corporations are all characterized throughout the paper. Prospective future developments, opportunities for foreign investments and cooperation between countries, as well as the present status of China and India in the world, are also briefly characterized in this thesis.
Globalization - prerequisites, attributes and implications

This bachelor thesis deals with a current very significant word wide tendency, which is called globalization. It searches the prerequisites of its origin, historical emergence and phenomena, which are accompanying it all the time. An attention is also paid to its main attributes. The thesis is further concerned with international flows of trade, capital and with the movement of labour force together with migration. Finally there are introduced some implications caused by globalization.
The Role of International Organizations in the World Economy

The first chapter describes the conditions of the establishment and development of international organizations, their characteristic and division. The second chapter is devoted to International Monetary Fund and the third one to International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The fourth chapter deals with the World Trade Organization and the fifth one with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Each chapter contains a description of the development of the goals and roles of particular organization till present.

Thesis is devoted to theoretical description of climate changes issue and confrontation of different opinions on the origin of climate changes. The major part of thesis is devoted to international agreements, their efficiency, significancy and the problems connected to their origin.
The issues of sales of AIESEC products on Czech and international markets

Focusing on the current reality in Czech Republic and Hong Kong, the paper deals with the process of business negotiation and other topics concerning products offered by international student organization AIESEC, offering a comparison of the given markets. AIESEC is presented in the introduction to the thesis, giving a general overview as well as a deeper insight into the Czech and Hong Kong reality in the area of services provided by AIESEC to their corporate partners. A characteristic of Hong Kong follows, describing the geographic, political, economic and cultural specifics of the territory. The focal point of the paper is the analysis of the selling process of AIESEC products, showing the specific characteristics of business negotiation in Hong Kong. The main aspects of the analysis are preparation for a business appointment, usage of presentation materials, participants and place of the appointment, the respective phases of the selling process as well as strategic and tactical issues. In the concluding part of the paper a comparison of the two given countries is drawn, in terms of the sales procedures while offering the specific AIESEC products. A quantitative overview is included, as well as an estimation of the market potential for selling international internships in the respective countries. Furthermore, customer relationship management and cultural specifics are discussed. A SWOT analysis follows, presenting the abovementioned learnings in a structured way.
Russian-Chinese Relations at the Turn of the 20th and 21st centuries

Práce pojednává o vývoji a současném stavu rusko-čínských vztahů. V první části stručně shrnuje historický vývoj vztahů zhruba od konce 19.století do rozpadu SSSR. Hlavní část práce se pak věnuje období od 90.let 20.století do současnosti a předkládá i možné varianty do budoucnosti. Největší pozornost je věnována politickým vztahů, ať již bilaterálním, tak v rámci mezinárodních organizací (RB OSN a zejména Šanghajská organizace spolupráce), dále pak vztahům ekonomickým.

But the two universalisms are built on a different basis in terms of religion, language and many other aspects. I analyze the clash of the two visions of the world and the French reactions to the American rise to power in the 20th century.
