Collecting Indicators of Compromise from Operating Systems

Focus of this thesis is on the design and implementation of an application for gathering indicators of compromise from the systems. In the thesis, there is an introduction to the term indicator of compromise and description of commonly used categories. Next, there is a summary of existing tools with a similar focus. In the thesis, there is a list of some existing formats for sharing of indicators of compromise and selection of format which resulting application uses. After the implementation, application was tested both locally and on infrastructure of cyber exercise.

Increase of security awareness at primary school

This diploma thesis deals with the introduction of a primary school security awareness program. This goal is solved in three main parts. The introductory part of the thesis introduces basic concepts and theoretical basis of ISMS issues and the SAE program. The next part is analyzing the current state of the school system and introduced requirements for the introduction of the program. The third and main part of the thesis is devoted to the proposal of its own solution for building and introducing the SAE program. The outcome of this work is a security policy, SAE program and training materials.

This bachelor thesis deals with the compilation of own methodology for risk management, which is based on existing standards, applicable in small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part analyzes the legal obligations, existing standards and the current situation. The practical part includes the design of the methodology, deployment in the selected company and usability evaluation.

This thesis describes the design and implementation of ISMS to a particular high school. The aim is to provide our own recommendations and suggestions to improve the current situation. Introductory section explains the various basic concepts related to ICT security, the next section describes the facilities of the school and the current state of the school. In the practical part are individually discussed the proposed security measures.

This thesis deals with the creation of a monitoring system for a company's infrastructure. The monitoring system is implemented using the Zabbix monitoring tool, configured according to the organization's requirements. Furthermore, log files are analyzed using the ELISA log manager, and the logs are subsequently evaluated based on created rules. As part of this thesis, the integration of these two systems was configured to enable monitor alerts sent from the ELISA system within the Zabbix interface.
