Jsou zde popsány telekomunikační radiové sítě a zároveň jejich realizace s širším zaměřením na bezdrátové datové přenosy. Dále jsou klasifikovány telekomunikační služby včetně radiokomunikačních, kam spadají satelitní komunikační systémy, které tvoří stěžejní část práce.
