Homestead with accommodation
Staňová, Monika ; Papranec, Michal (referee) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
Annotation The aim of this bachelor thesis is a project of a new building of a family farmhouse with accommodation situated in the cadastral area of Lezník. The farmhouse is sitting on the suburb of the village and is surrounded by old original barns. This house is designed for a family of 5 members. A part of the farmhouse is used as a Bed and Breakfast for up to 12 people. Each part of the house (living and accommodation) has got its own entrance. The building is covered with a double pitched roof in an L shape. The roof above the living kitchen is designed as a shed (lean to) roof. For the main wall structural system we have used Porotherm system, apart from the gables which are constructed as a wooden structure due to the size and unusual shapes of windows. The facade is designed as a combination of direct external insulation and ventilated facade. Documentation has been prepared for this building construction. The graphical part of this documentation has been processed in the AUTOCAD software.
Ecological House
Woytela, Jindřich ; Janíček, Vít (referee) ; Králová, Zuzana (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis is a project of detache house. The house design i a two-storey, wooden bulding with gable roof and with out basement. Layout is 5+KK and is responsible design for family with 4 members. It is the construction of diffusion-close timber, based on strip foundation and pernament formwork. Floor plan is rectangular. Building the entire system is designed by STEICO elements, including STEICO thermal insulation. The advantages of the building are relatively small thickness of external walls with excelent thermal properities and fast process of construction. The house is designed with a view to sustainable construction using modern environmentally friendly materials. The house is situated in the village Křenovice u Slavkova.
Low-Energy Timber Detached House

The aim of my bachelor thesis is a project of new low-energy detached house with garage, two-floor house without cellar. The building is covered with flat green roof. The structural system is composed of timber I-joists Steico. Detached house consists of one housing unit of category 5+1.
Mechanické chování lepeného dřevěného nosníku
Špavor, Oskar
Wood buildings are gaining more and more customers over time. This popularity is mainly caused to fast construction, sandwich structure and a favorable microclimate. The brick systems as well as wood buildings we have a choice of a wide range of building systems. These systems combine often wood with other materials to improve the wood properties. One possibility is the combination with agglomerated materials. The aim of the bachelor thesis was experimentally described the mechanical behavior of the glued wooden I-beam under the loading, which is use in the construction as the main supporting element. The global and local elastic moduli (MOEglobal and MOElocal) and the flexural strength (MOR) of two types I-beams were determined. Two sets of samples with length 3000 mm and 1500 mm and with height 260 mm were produced. Each test series consisted of 10 samples. The lower and upper flanges were made from KVH prism of Norway spruce (Picea abies L. Karst.) with dimension 60 × 60 mm cross-section and middle beams were made from OSB boards with 15 mm thickness. The I-beam members were glued using polyurethane glue and were conditioned at T = 20° with relative humidity 65%. The testing was performed by 4-point bending test according to standard ČSN EN 408 + A1 (2012). The mean MOElocal for samples with length 3000 and 1500 mm were 5 GPa and 5.25 GPa, respectively. The mean MOEglobal with length3000 and 1500 mm were 12,3 GPa and 4,5 GPa, respectively. The mean MOR with length 3000 and 1500 mm were 10,3 MPa and 14,7 MPa, respectively.
