Systems for remote measurement in power engineering
Hudec, Lukáš ; Mlýnek, Petr (referee) ; Mišurec, Jiří (advisor)
The work deals with the measurement and management in power. Provides an introduction to the problems of remote meter reading, management, and describes the current situation in the field of modern technologies Smart metering and Smart grids. It also analyzed the issue of collection of networks and data collection from a large number of meters over a wide area. For the purpose of data transmission are described GPRS, PLC, DSL, ... Further, there are given options to streamline communication. This area is used hierarchical aggregation. Using k-means algorithm is a program designed to calculate the number of concentrators and their location in the group of meters. The finished program is written in Java. It has a graphical interface and shows how the calculation is conducted. To verify the results of the optimization program is given simulation model in OPNET Modeler tool. Audited results are described in the conclusion and can deduce that using the optimization program is to streamline communications.
Signalling Transmission for Internet Television
Burget, Radim ; Makáň, Florian (referee) ; Vodrážka,, Jiří (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
A signalization in an Internet protocol environment is commonly used for monitoring quality of service and other parameters of a network. This thesis is involved in transmission of signalization through internet protocol networks and proposes scalable solution for small and even for large-scale internet television broadcasting. The main contribution of this thesis lies in design and validation of optimal hierarchical tree on the basis of resources assigned. This is done in respect to geographical distance, network distance of each particular member of the hierarchical structure. For the design of algorithms simulations and global experimental network were used.
Stability of hierarchical aggregation system for internet television broadcasting
Olivka, Petr ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
This work is about Hierarchical agregation and it describes its parts in the rst part of this work. Next is described its parts, main features and properties in this rst part. Document describes the possibilities of realization. Second part describes an analysis of the stability problem. Realizes the detection of failures of the Feedback target stations by the implemented protocol. The protocol is programaticly realized in JAVA language and tested in the real enviroment. In this document it is described an function of bandwidth on the speed of failure detection. The issues of detection of failure on the feedback target manager machine are discussed in this document.
Synchronized data transfer of signalling in IPTV
Figurny, Roman ; Karásek, Jan (referee) ; Müller, Jakub (advisor)
The task of Bachelor's thesis has been to develop synchronizing mechanism for signaling servers, called Feedback Targets, in hierarchical structure of the feedback tree. Then verify the function of this designed synchronizing mechanism in simulation developed in Java. Using this synchronizing mechanism to shorten the time needed to travel the signaling packets trough the feedback tree and using this to obtain better reaction to possible network junction or significant packet loss while distributing multimedia data while using IPTV. In theoretic part of the thesis there are described basic protocols like RTCP, RTP and TTP. Then are described methods for packet sending in network (multicast, unicast and broadcast). The basic piece of knowledge about IPTV, its distribution and differences between IPTV and classic internet media streaming are described. Also basic terms like Feedback Target, Feedback Target Manager and FTI, FTS and FTD packets are described as well.
