Recent morphogenetic processes in the Geodynamic Observatory Pecný area

The paper deals with recent morphogenetic processes in the Geodynamic Observatory Pecný (GOPE) area and their influence on the evolution of landforms. Evaluation of their impact was based on selected geomorphological phenomena. Special attention is emphasized intense weathering, hillslope processes, erosion and antropogenic impact. Analysis of microclimatic conditions, humidity and temperature conditions of soil and ground water level in the area GOPE are also presented.

Natural environment of the Geodynamic Observatory Pecný area in the Ondřejovská vrchovina Highland

The study deals with detailed physical-geographical characteristics of the Geodynamic Observatory Pecný (GOPE) area. The description of the Ondřejovská vrchovina Highland is also presented. Expert sources, field reconnaissance and basic meteorological data related to Pecný area has been analysed. These knowledge and data are interpreted as a complex description of the GOPE environment.
