Geomorfologická inventarizace skalních forem reliéfu v oblasti Slepičích hor

From a geomorphological point of view, Novohradské podhůří is a unique area that is yet to be fully explored. This bachelor's thesis aims to explore the current geomorphological state of Slepičí hory, more precisely of its three main peaks named Kouhout, Vysoký Kámen, and Velký Kámen and also to map their geomorphological points of interest with the use of GPS. The results of the mappings are then further used to assemble geomorphological plans in the ArcGIS 10.4. software and to put together descriptions of individual relief shapes of the given areas. The thesis also contains a brief characteristics of the physical and geographical conditions of the area of interest. The GPS mappings were performed in 2020 and 2021.

GPS mapping of geomorphologicaly interesting localities in the Novohradské Mountains

Novohradské Mountains are an unique area, that it has been little searched, not only in term of geomorphology. The aim of this diploma thesis is to map geomorphologicly the most interesting localities by the help of GPS technology. Further on the basis of mapping to create the detailed geomorphologic plans in the application ArcGIS 9.1. and to write a text, that describes single forms of the relief on the chosen localities. There is also brief physical-geographic characteristic of the monitored area. The GPS mapping was in progress in the years 2006 and 2007. This work was particularly supported by grant AVČR KJB 300460501.
