Effect of free surface flow forces on the rectifying element
Höll, Jan ; Sehnal, Jan (referee) ; Zubík, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the research of the effect of free surface flow forces on the rectifying element and consists of several parts. The first part processes and evaluates the measured values from a physical model. In the next part measurement is checked according to hydraulic laws. In the third part comparison of both methods is created.

Evaluation of pressure sensor placement into a floor of sewer line with supercritical slope
Štarhová, Marie ; Šafář,, Robert (referee) ; Žoužela, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis investigates an installation of pressure sensor into sewage line bottom with supercritical slope. Original construction for installation of the sensor was unsatisfactory, therefore so called “bottom pocket” was designed. Using this design, the sensor is placed below sewer line bottom level. For investigation, several variants of sensor placement and its coverage were chosen. The aim of this thesis is to find the best sensor placement into the bottom pocket in combination with its coverage, so that figures reported by the sensor are the least possibly determined by Froudé criterium.
