Teichmanová, Radka ; UNTERMŰLLER, Karel (advisor) ; Nouzovská, Kristina (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the personality of British musician Cecil Forsyth and his work. In the first part we learn about his life, where he lived, he worked what and when he composed and contributed to the viola repertoire. Publication Orchestration, which has a great impact on today’s concept of orchestration, shouldn‘t be also ignored. The second part deals with the analysis of the work itself – Concerto for Viola and Orchestra G minor. And in the final chapter he deals with the comparison of interpretative recordings of two well-known violists, which he also mentions.
