The research part was implemented in the form of a qualitative research investigation using the semi-structured interview technique. The interviews were conducted on the basis of pre-prepared questions, in which representatives of the CČK Water Rescue Service and a unit of the Fire Rescue Service took part. The research group was made up of 5 respondents representing the ČČk Water Rescue Service and the Fire Rescue Service. The interviews took place after consent was given within the framework of the audio recording, ensuring anonymity and all information about this research work. They were then transcribed in writing. The results of the research investigation were formulated using the method of coding using the technique, "pencil and paper". The results of the objectives were mapped into 3 categories and subsequent subcategories. The output of this bachelor's thesis is a recommendation for paramedics covering the issue of drowning and rescuing an individual from ice and water, in a situation where there could be a delay in the time interval of the arrival of the components of the Integrated Rescue System of the Water Rescue Service and the Fire Rescue Service at the scene of intervention.
