Dlouhý, Petr ; Bobková, Lenka (advisor) ; Novotný, Robert (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the involvement of the Thuringian noble Fictum family in Bohemian-Saxon relations and monitors their activities in Bohemian lands during the reign of George of Poděbrady. First, it briefly characterizes the relations between the Lands of the Crown of Bohemia and the area of the future Saxon region during the reign of the Přemyslids and the Luxemburgs. Subsequently, it focuses on George's contacts with Saxony, where the aristocratic Fictum family came from, whom the thesis is dedicated. It examines the older history of this family and the activities at the Saxon court. Furthermore, the work sheds light on the circumstances of the departure of the Fictums to Bohemia, the political background of this departure, and the involvement of King George in this context. The thesis then deals with the acceptance of Fictums in Bohemia, their inclusion among the Czech nobility and the extent of their property in the Lands of the Crown of Bohemia. Keywords: Fictums, George of Poděbrady, nobility, Saxony, Land of the Crown of Bohemia
