	Analysis of macro-economic and political situation of the United Kingdom in the European integration process. Kotrs, Petr ; Prát, Šárka (advisor) ; Pělucha, Martin (referee) The following paper focuses on determination of importance that United Kingdom had in the European integration process. The first part will cover key moments in rise of the United Kingdom as the world superpower. Second part contains detailed look on the situations, which led to an end of so-called splendid isolation and also to creating alliances with other countries. Third part is dedicated to the United Kingdom in the era of Margaret Thatcher because in that time United Kingdom had to recover from loss of its colonies and had to make important reforms in order to have a chance to be one of the most powerful countries once again. Last part of this paper focuses on the macroeconomic and politic analysis of the current United Kingdom using the basic macroeconomic indexes such as GDP per capita, unemployment rate and total GDP. First, it theoretically describes European integration process and consequently finds if the European Monetary Union in the optimal currency area. Furthermore, explains term of a Stability and Growth Pact and it discrepancies between political and economic issues. In conclusion, it is contemplated that the Stability and Growth Pact, even after the reforms, have a negative impact on relations between the members of the Eurozone. Detailed record
	Vliv evropského integračního procesu na ekonomiky Bulharska a Rumunska Robková, Kateřina This bachelor thesis is aimed to the evaluation of impact of the European integration process on the economies of Bulgaria and Romania between years 1995 and 2012. In the theoretical part the thesis focuses on the transformations of economies of the states in Central and Eastern Europe as well as with the integration process of Bulgaria and Romania. Practical part is concerned with two areas on interest. The first one is the analysis and comparison of political and institutional environment of both states using the World Bank's Governance Matters index. The second one is the evaluation of the integration process impacts on the macroeconomic variables within both states (such as the inflation, unemployment, economic growth and balance of payments) with the use of the graphic and descriptive analysis. The discussion part of the thesis covers of the comparison of Bulgaria and Romania with other Balkan states focused mainly on their integration to EU and the impact of the recent economic crisis.
