	EU Employment Policy and Its Impact on Labour Market in the Czech Republic ŠIKLOVÁ, Lucie Employment policy is implemented through two forms. The first is a passive employment policy, consisting of tangible assurance of citizens at the time of their unemployment. However, states prefer an active employment policy in order to stimulate access to the labour force to change its own position on the labour market. The main priorities of the European Union is to increase an employee motivation to work. The bachelor's thesis deals with the description of the principal instruments such as the European Employment Strategy and the European Social Fund.
