Implementation of the Domain Structure in a Large Company
Hošek, David ; Sedlák, Petr (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This master`s thesis deals with domain structure. The main concern of this work is analysis and implementation of the Domain Structure in a company. Domain structure will be introduced because of the current unsatisfactory solutions and increase information security. The name of the company is not specified in this thesis.
Study of ferroelectric materials
Kos, Lukáš ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
This work is focused on the study of perovskite ferroelectric materials group and monitoring changes their dielectric parameters in temperature and frequency dependence Is described scrystallographic systems of barium titanate and their influence on material properties. The measured values are mathematically interpreted using the Curie – Weiss law and discussed about the influence of strontium titanite on important dielectric parameters.
Thermo-transport effects in antiferromagnets
Baďura, Antonín ; Schmoranzerová, Eva (advisor) ; Martins Godinho, João Pedro (referee)
This thesis investigates magnetic properties of an antiferromagnet Mn5Si3 in both collinear and noncollinear antiferromagnetic phases, which this compound evinces. The work is based on three distinct experimental approaches: The first one comprises mea- surements of magnetotransport phenomena (namely anisotropic magnetoresistance and Hall effects), the second one studies thermal counterparts of these effects (particularly the anomalous Nernst effect). Finally, we used scanning thermal gradient microscopy in order to observe the domain structure of Mn5Si3. The key outcome of the magnetotransport measurements is an observation of the Hall response in the collinear antiferromagnetic phase, which we attribute to the recently proposed crystal Hall effect. Furthermore, the thermotransport measurements resulted in the first observation of the anomalous Nernst effect in this compound. Due to the variety of artefacts, we did not record any convincing image of the domain structure in Mn5Si3. The analysis of the artefacts was supported by mathematical modelling that helped to pinpoint their origin.
Magnetic Domain Imaging Using Magnetic Force Microscopy
Kalabis, Ivo ; Uhlířová, Klára (advisor) ; Veis, Martin (referee)
This work deals with problem about study of magnetic domains by magnetic force microscopy. We introduce scanning probe microscopy with a focus on technical details such as calibrations and scanner defects. The calibrations were checked on two different microscopes Bruker Dimension Edge and attoAFM/MFM Ixs. The microscopes where then used for magnetic domains studies. On first microscope at room temperature was measured thin film of garnet (YSm)3(FeGa)5O12 and it was compared with Kerr microscopy. On second one (atto AFM/MFM Ixs) we dealt with evolution of domains in uniaxial ferromagnet UCoGa at low temperatures (under and around Curie temperature Tc = 48 K) including dependency on magnetic fields. There were measured several dependences of single crystal UCoGa for different (low) temperatures and different magnetic fields.
