Proposal recovery tools ECCAIRS 5 Taxonomy Design Tools

The diploma thesis focuses on describing the potential modifications of the ECCAIRS system, using the Taxonomy Design Tools toolkit, and creating a proposal to use the toolkit to simplify the user experience of the ECCAIRS system on a national level. The theoretical part includes a description of the legislation related to the aviation accidents and incidents reporting, covered by the Regulation (EU) No 376/2014, followed by the procedure of aviation occurrence reporting in the Czech Republic and the description of the ECCAIRS system, its tools, features and modification options. The practical part of the thesis contains the proposal of using the specified toolkit to optimize the ECCAIRS system usage efficiency, including a detailed description of the steps taken to achieve that goal.

Multidimensional Data Analysis and Analytic View Processing

This thesis deals with the analysis and display of multidimensional data. In the theoretical part, the issue of data mining, its tasks and techniques, and a brief explanation of the terms Business Intelligence and data warehouse are presented. The issue of databases is also described in this thesis. Subsequently, the options for displaying multidimensional data are described. At the end of the theoretical part is briefly explained the problems of optical networks and especially the terms Gigabit passive optical network and its frame, because the data from the frames of this network will be displayed by an application. In the practical part, you can find creating a source database and an application to create a OLAP cube and display multidimensional data. This application is based on the theoretical knowledge of multidimensional databases and OLAP technology.

Analysis and Design of Information System

This work deals with the modifications of project MeDiMed, which ceased to meet the requirements it imposed. In the first part the main objectives, targets and methods to achieve them are defined. The second part deals with the theory that is needed to understand the issue. In the practical part, which is based on the theory is prepared SWOT analysis and the modified HOS-8 analysis of the current state, whose results are then analyzed. The next section presents design of new solution. The conclusion summarizes all the proposed solutions and knowledge that have been achieved in this work.

Dynamics of orchid occurrence in South Bohemia

Orchids are an endangered group of plants, protected both in the Czech Republic and in the whole world. Questions of their protection are therefore lively discussed, but not all factors, affecting their presence, are known so far. The purpose of this work was to find out, which environmental factors influence the existence of certain orchid species at their localities in the selected area. This is important for better protection of orchids, because only by knowing these factors we can find new sites, or improve management plans of the existing ones. Another purpose of this work was to find out what is the main reason for extinction of orchids at their historical localities and whether or not there is a possibility of finding other, yet unknown localities of these species. This thesis is based on data from databases, which were also updated during the data collection. The data were processed by computer software MaxEnt, which produces species distribution models and allows to predict potential occurrence of orchids even at yet unknown localities. Copyright protection of webpages

The topic of the diploma thesis is the copyright protection of webpages that connects law and webpages and its maintenance and administration performed by website operator. The webpage can be perceived and interpreted in two ways, i.e. as a set of individual elements or as single all-embracing and complex unit that is formed by those elements. The main goal is to analyze the legislation in both ways and to present impacts of it. The initial chapter provides essential basics of copyright law that applies to the rest of the thesis and explains the terminology that is used in following chapters. Second chapter deals with source code that is crucial information for a functioning of every webpage and that stays unknown to most of the webpage users. Third chapter aims at visual identity of a webpages, that means at appearance and design, every element that webpage user can perceive. This chapter also presents conditions under which the individual elements are eligible to be protected in accordance with Czech Copyright Act. A significant part of this chapter is devoted to fonts whose protection is not regulated under Czech law.
