Optimization of use properties Lead-Acid batteries
Lábus, Radek ; Dostál, Zdeněk (referee) ; Jareš, Petr (referee) ; Křivík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the limitations of degradation mechanisms of Lead-Acid batteries, which significantly contributes unequal distribution of current (and therefore internal resistance, charge passed and power loss) on the surface of the electrodes of Lead-Acid battery. The unevenness of distribution of these parameters significantly influences the distribution of current tabs on the electrodes. In this work it was developed realistic model of Lead-Acid battery cell with plate electrodes with different variants of the distribution of current tabs. Measured results obtained in this model were compared with the results found out from the mathematical simulations. Through these simulations, it was possible to take a look deeply into the processes and changes in the electrodes of Lead-Acid batteries during discharge. Goal of this work was for predefined variants of positioning of the current tabs to simulate distribution of current, internal resistance, charge passed and power loss during discharge. Another goal was to compare the different variants and to find the optimal variant of current tabs positioning based on minimizing of unevenness of examined variables distribution.
Design of HV disconnector
Hrubý, Radek ; Valenta, Jiří (referee) ; Vávra, Zdeněk (advisor)
The text focuses on the design of high-voltage disconnector. It made a brief theoretical analysis of construction equipment directives. Proposal follows the insulation system apparatus according to empirical formulas. Hereafter, we discuss the design of current track isolators. For the flow path are calculated electrodynamic forces acting. Warming current path is simulated by a computer program ANSYS, this simulation includes 3D device model and determine the material and thermal constants. Finally it is shown calculating the required torque on the shaft of the disconnector. This calculation is simplified. The output is a 3D sketch of the device model used to simulate warming.
Current distribution on linear antennas
Dvořák, Zdeněk ; Puskely, Jan (referee) ; Nováček, Zdeněk (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis of Current distribution on linear antennas is concerned about possibilities of measuring current distribution on antenna. There is also close peak on measuring principles with help of measuring loop. Current in the loop is inducted in continual proportion to magnetic induction, which is inducted by the current distributed on antenna conductor in proximity of measuring loop. There are also described important parameters of antenna, which can be got from current distribution. This thesis discusses about the method of measure with the sonde in more detail. The expanded program DISTRIB helps to process measured values. This program is modified specially for short and long antennas. There is enclosed the projected submission of laboratory exercise, an exemplary protocol and sinusoidal regression calculation, which is used by the computer program.
