Cultural Imagination: The Science Fiction Genre Impact upon Our Mental Concepts of the Future

This diploma thesis deals with the study of the collective imagination. It studies and observes variable linkages between spectator as well as productive imagination to the cultural environment, as they occur during the second half of the twentieth century, overlapping into the twenty-first century. The primary areas of research are predominantly literary and film works of the science fiction genre. The research is conducted using mainly discoursive analysis method, however, the thesis has its theoretical groundings in media studies, partly also in the fields of political theory, in the theory of fictional worlds, intercultural studies and philosophy of science. Employed approaches are purposefully tied to more or less closed case studies, which form the thematic content of individual chapters.

The work deals with the influence on selected abilities and skills through the methodology of drama education. The theoretical part points to the transformation of society and the importance of communication as a basis for the formation and growth of personality. The reaction is the emergence of the Children's theater ensemble and its integration into the socio-cultural environment of the village of Láz. In the practical part is a qualitative cross-sectional study through an interview with the members of the ensemble, in which it is investigated how the activities of the participants of this ensemble work on their chosen abilities and skills and to what extent is the methodology of work of interest activities effective. On the basis of the findings, it is possible to speak of the importance of the ensemble for the socio-cultural environment of the municipality. The importance is summarized at the end of the work.

This thesis deals with the business environment in Iran and opportunities for trade cooperation. The first chapter describes the status of Iran in the Middle East, the second one describes the cultural environment. The third chapter deals with business environment using the PESTL analysis. This thesis also examines the foreign trade of the country and Czech-Iranian cooperation, stating a few specific examples.

The first part of the thesis contains literature research. Analysis of marketing macro environment, its evaluation and suggestions based on the obtained information are situated in the second part. This thesis also contains description of the company itself.
