Heating Plant Mydlovary
Víšková, Jaroslava ; Pospíšil, Jiří (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is the Heating Plant Mydlovary. Especially optimization of its flow and chaining the power sources regards to the financial rationalization. The main focus is on flow of co-generation unit TEDOM Quanto D1200, which is product of Tedom s.r.o. Heating plant also consists of two warm water boilers Kotad 800 (thermal output 5,44 ) and Babcock Wanson BWN 150 with the maximum thermal output 8,0 . This heating plant is located in South Bohemia, close to town Zliv. Zliv is supplied by heat by the Heating Plant Mydlovary. Most of the houses in the city is connected in the district heating system. Whole heating plant is property of company E.ON Trend s.r.o.
progressive trends in energy exploitation of fossile fuels
Horák, Pavel ; Přibil, Rudolf (advisor) ; Matějíček, Luboš (referee)
This paper, as literature retrieval, evaluates progressive trends in development of technologies for energetic use of fossil fuels. The introduction is focused on reasons for increase of energetic efficiency of combustion processes, especially reasons for using of fossil fuels and their consumption over the world and in Czech Republic. Next chapter focuses on mainly used fossil fuels, which means coal, crude oil and its derivatives and natural gas. Those are evaluated in term of quality and historical progress, too. Fundamental chapter analyses particular improvements but also complex technologies used in energetic, for example using of gas turbines, assets of Kalina cycle, complex technology of Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC), combined heat and power production (CHP), combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) or pressurised fluid bed combustion (PFBC).
Power production in cogeneration units
Šaroun, Josef ; Vašek,, Vladimír (referee) ; Caha, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the technical-economic evaluation of the advantages of combined pruduction of electrical and thermal energy, depending on the current offer price of feed, bonuses and allowances.. There are described co-generational technologies and used for units with performance up to 500 kWe. There are discussed in detail cogeneration units based on reciprocating internal combustion engines. The thesis contents evaluation of various modes of operation of co-generation unit, depanding on the results is chosen the most suitable mode. Daily yield was calculated in relation with prices paid for commodities and service. Co-generational contribution were considered as well as contribution for decentralized production of electricity. From the operational and economical point of view the most effective mode of running the co-generation unit is 12 hours mode. The economical evaluation of input was made. If the operational mode of the unit would follow the suggested mode, the financial return of input would be in two years. With the correct operation the co-generation unit would generate the income about 21,8 mil. CZK.
