Implementation error coding for NG-PON2 in matlab
Gallo, Martin
The work deals with mathematical implementation of the newest NG-PON2 standard for PON networks from error correction coding point of view. The aim is to determine the effectiveness of this system in mathematical model for transmitting and receiving data via optical interface with help of artificial noise interface.
Simulation of the DVB-C2 transmission
Chovaneček, Libor ; Fliegel, Karel (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is simulation of DVB-C2 transmission. The first part of this thesis is focused mainly on theory, where it describes differences between digital and analog television transmission. The project also explains principle of operation DVB-C and DVB-C2 systems with focus on channel coding a modulation. Application for simulation of DVB-C2 transmission, which is developed in the MATLAB environment is described in the second part. The last part of this thesis includes results of simulations of DVB-C2 transmission and their comparison with measured values of DVB-C transmission.
Turbo-convolution and turbo-block codes
Šedý, Jakub ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
The aim is to explain the Turbo convolutional and block turbo codes and decoding the secure message. The practical part focuses on the design of a demonstration program in Matlab. The work is divided into four parts. The first two deal with theoretical analysis of coding and decoding. The third section contains a description created a demonstration program that allows you to navigate the process of encoding and decoding. The fourth is devoted to simulation and performance of turbo codes.
