Long-term land use changes in Albertov Abstrakt The thesis deals with the implementation of geoinfomatic systems in the problematics of the historical land use based on the available historical and current map materials and aerial photographs. The main aim of the thesis is the evaluation of the long-term changes in the landscape in the locality of the Faculty of Science of Karlova University in Albertov. The comparation of the historical and current condition of Albertov landscape is visualised through use of software package of ArcGIS Desktop and demonstrated by creation of 3D model of the researched area. The second outcome of the research is a set of maps chronologically visualizing the changes in land use at Albertov in the last 160 years.
